The Yancang Road on the west side of Songjiang South Station will be closed at the end of October. At that time, the west entrance passage will be closed simultaneously, and only the east access from the Songjiang South side of Metro Line 9 to the entrance entrance will be retained. Social vehicles and taxis need to park from Xianshan Road to the east of Line 9 to the ground public parking lot on the east side of Line 9.

At present, Shanghai Suzhou and Hu Railway is under orderly construction. This railway starts from Shanghai Hongqiao Station and finally reaches Huzhou Station . A brand new Songjiang South Station station building will be built on the south side of the original Songjiang South Station station building. The waiting hall is an elevated waiting hall, located above the station yard. The scale of newly built site buildings is 60,000 square meters, with a station size of 7 units and 19 lines. Together with the original Songjiang South Station, the total scale of the station will reach 9 units and 23 lines. After completion, the station will become another Shanghai comprehensive hub passenger station, which can fully utilize Shanghai's west-facing external transportation radiation capabilities.
