However, due to the implementation of the " Practical Physician Law ", traditional Chinese medicine practitioners have become smaller and smaller in their living space, and some even lose their qualifications to practice medicine. In June 1998, the "Practical Physician Law" , which was reviewed and passed by the Standing Committee of the Ninth National People's Congress, established a medical qualification examination system in my country. According to the provisions of the "Practical Physician Law", if you directly take the doctor qualification examination , you must have the corresponding academic qualification and working years, among which academic qualifications are the primary obstacle to the professional access of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners. Some traditional Chinese medicine practitioners who have passed the education, ancestral teaching or self-study do not have the education required by the Practical Physician Law and cannot directly take the physician qualification examination.
In view of this, Article 11 of the "Practical Physician Law" stipulates that "if you have studied traditional medicine in the form of teacher-admission for three years or have expertise in practicing medical skills after many years of practice, you can pass the assessment and recommend it by the traditional medical professional organization or medical, prevention, and health care institutions determined by the health administrative department of the people's government at or above the county level and above, and you can take the qualification examination for practicing physicians or practicing assistant physicians." However, due to the comprehensiveness, systematicity and standardization of the content of the doctor qualification examination, for many candidates who study traditional Chinese medicine through teacher-admission for many years and improve their abilities through practice, due to the single knowledge structure and the theory is relatively insufficient compared to practice, it is indeed very difficult to pass the comprehensive qualification examination.
"Traditional Medicine Law" successfully unbind the folk Chinese medicine

According to this, the " Traditional Medical Teachers' Qualification Assessment and Examination Method for Physician Qualification Assessment for Personnel with Experts" (Ministry of Health Order No. 52) stipulates that you can take the qualification of practicing physicians or practicing assistant physician qualification examination.
