On November 8, retired teachers of Miaopo school and administrative staff of the school held a "Symposium of Retired Teachers" together in the school conference room. 9 retired teachers who have worked hard for the cause of education returned to the campus they were concerned about in their dreams to attend the symposium.
At 9 a.m., principal Wang Dashan led the old teachers to visit the school's campus environment and library, calligraphy room, music classroom art room and various laboratories. "The Party and the country are not simple to invest in education. If you have such educational and teaching resources, if you cannot cultivate talents, you will be really ashamed of the country and the people." An old teacher said this during the tour.
10:12, the symposium chaired by Zhang Zongrong, chairman of the Miaopo School Trade Union and vice president, officially kicked off. First, the trade union chairman introduced all the team members to the old comrades and extended his most sincere greetings to the old teachers. Then, branch secretary and principal Wang Dashan sincerely thanked the old teachers for their contributions to Miaopo education, and reported to the old teachers about the development and changes of the school, teaching philosophy, teaching achievements and future prospects in recent years, and hoped that the old teachers would put forward valuable opinions on the development of Miaopo education. Finally, the school affairs were disclosed to the old teachers and wished the retired teachers good health and all the best.
Then, with deep feelings for the school, retired teachers speak freely and communicate with frankly from the overall development of the school. The old teachers affirmed the tremendous changes made by the school in recent years in school construction and internal reform, and gave a high evaluation of the school's achievements in education and teaching. Retired teachers said that although they have retired, they will continue to support the school's work in the future, pay attention to the school's development, provide suggestions for the school's development, and make use of their remaining energy for the Party's education cause.
Finally, the school team members awarded the retired teachers a certificate of honor for 30 years of rural education work, and took photos with the old teachers.
After the meeting, the retired teachers had a reunion dinner in the school cafeteria together. At the dining table, the old teachers expressed their vision of being born in a prosperous era, having fun in old age, and willing to cheer for Miaopo Education and caring for the next generation. They shared their own health experiences, thanked the leaders for their care, and wished that Miaopo Education would be a better tomorrow!
