My friend invited us to this restaurant called Tianxiang Pavilion on the first floor of Laohuli Jiahui Building in Xiamen. A very down-to-earth restaurant, a simple restaurant storefront, the only sign is the three serious characters "Tianxiang Pavilion", which are the ones that are exposed to the wind and sun, haha. To be honest, if it weren't for my friend's recommendation, I would have come alone, and I might not have the intention to enter.
The storefront is a bit simple. When you enter the restaurant, you will feel like an old-fashioned food stall in Xiamen. The middle lobby is surrounded by several large and small private rooms. Since it was a friend treat, I booked a private room in advance and looked forward to this meal after taking a seat. After all, I am quite curious about this kind of restaurant that can’t even be found in Dianping.
The first one served was a large pot of red mushroom chicken soup. It was really a huge portion, full of red mushroom chicken and big clams. It was really stewed with mountain delicacies and seafood!
