[Disease Type] Lung Cancer-Lung Adenocarcinoma
[Basic Information] Female, confirmed age 19 years old
[Confirmation time] October 13, 2021
confirmed after
In April 2021, I had a severe cold. My cough had not improved in nearly two weeks, so I went to the Chinese Medicine Hospital for treatment. The doctor suggested taking CT of the lungs. Later, the result was that the dorsal segment of the right lower lung had a ground glass nodule shadow about 8mm in diameter.
Doctor recommends a review every three months because I personally do not pay attention to it, so I delayed the review in the hospital on October 12. The CT report shows that the maximum length of the right lung nodule is 11mm. At that time, after seeing the report, the doctor of Yijishan asked me to operate as soon as possible and contacted my parents.

1, accompanied by his parents, went to the hospital for the third filming. The lung CT report showed that double lung nodules, the ground glass nodules in the dorsal segment of the right lower lobe of the right lung is 10mmx8mm, and the ground glass nodules in the outer basal segment of the left lower lobe of the left lung is 3mmx3mm. The doctor at Gulou Hospital also recommended surgical resection, suspected that premature cancer may be possible.

treatment After
I went to the hospital on October 20, 2021 to complete the hospitalization procedures. Because the hospitalization required nucleic acid test report, I went through the admission procedures by myself, accompanied by relatives. That night, the nurse took me to take an electrocardiogram, and the next day, the nurse came to the bed to perform blood tests and cephalosporin tests. I went for a head magnetic resonance (brain) examination near noon. When my family arrived in the evening, the doctor asked me to have a preoperative conversation and said that a small section of my right lung was removed, so that I would not be too scared.
At around 7 a.m. on October 23, I was taken to the anesthesia room to wait. I entered the operating room at around 8 o'clock and underwent thoracoscopic surgery. I left the operating room at twelve o'clock, and I had a urinary catheter on the day of the operation. I lay in bed drowsy all day and only drank water and ate four hours after the operation. (You can’t eat and drink water before the operation, so I’m lucky. It was the doctor’s first surgery that day. I didn’t need to hang to maintain glucose . Like an aunt in my bed next to me, I went to position her in the morning and waited until four or five o’clock in the afternoon to enter the operating room. It looked very uncomfortable)
Because I didn’t have the effect of anesthetics, I didn’t feel that the right chest cannulation was very painful that day, and I didn’t feel the pain in the cough, so I coughed up a lot of fluid.
On the first day of the operation, the nurse came to pull out my catheter early in the morning. The nurse asked me to take a lung film. Maybe it was too uncomfortable to lie flat for a day. I got up and landed on the ground and felt a little anxious. I immediately felt dizzy and turned pale. I sat down for a while, and my family pushed the wheelchair to take a film.
The next day after the operation, the anesthetics were over. I felt pain in the wound when I went to bed at night. In addition, the air conditioner in the ward was also on, and I felt feverish all over. I woke up every hour and I didn’t sleep well all night. Because I couldn't bear the pain and didn't have a good rest, I turned on the analgesic pump the next day after the operation. After about two or three hours, I felt that some chest tightness and wanted to vomit, so I turned off the analgesic pump.
After the operation, I basically sleep while sitting and cannot lie flat, and then atomize once or twice a day, occasionally inhaling oxygen.
Every day I have to walk slowly outside the ward to help recover. I have to cough every day, so as to avoid inflammation in the air and chest cavity. The nurse also specially taught the family members to pat the back. If the cough cannot be done, ask the family members to pat the back and cough out the effusion. On the third day after the operation, I was extubated, and the days afterwards were recovering better day by day.
treatment effect
a day or two after being discharged from the hospital, it was very uncomfortable to sleep at night. Every time I went to bed, I felt pain in my abdomen and could only lie flat.I took 12 bottles of painkillers (celecoxib capsules) prescribed by the hospital once, and only one was taken. I felt much better that night, but I felt hot all over in the middle of the night, and my quilt and clothes were sweating. I didn’t dare to take painkillers after that.
Later, I watched other people's rehabilitation experience online. On the side of my surgery, I put a few more pillows on my back and leaned my back on the pillow. It felt much more comfortable. I personally think that the mattress is a little softer and more comfortable, so as not to cause back pain.
must take medicines prescribed by the hospital every day after discharge include:
Moxifloxacin hydrochloride tablets (once a day), Silihuanenbele tiotrothium bromide spray (once a day, twice a day);
About cough suppressants taken after discharge: Compound licorice oral solution (three times a day, this is the medicine prescribed by the hospital when discharged. It was broken after drinking for a week because I drank it when I had a severe cold in April, and I personally feel that the effect is not great);
Huang Rui cough and asthma syrup (drinking three boxes, three times a day, one bottle at a time, this effect is OK);
Magic Loquat cough and relieving capsules (three times a day, two tablets a day, and one box after drinking, the effect is average).
If you cough, you will have some cough. I personally think that relying on medicine alone is not enough. For example, I will cough continuously when I get excited. Pay more attention to keeping warm in normal times, and don’t have too much emotional ups and downs.
Re-examination experience
The first re-examination was one month after discharge. I underwent routine blood biochemical examination, lung CT, and color ultrasound in my chest. The doctor read my report and said that I recovered well, but there was a little too much effusion in the chest (5.7cm of fluid), so I had to extract pleural effusion .
Later, the doctor gave me a local anesthesia on my back and took out the effusion. The subsequent re-examination was performed once every six months.
Personal experience
If you have nothing to do, go for more walks (don’t be too tired if you don’t feel tired), and practice lung capacity .
For diet, be light and not heavy in taste, you will be unable to help coughing! After being discharged from the hospital, I would soak a bag of protein powder and every day to drink it. I would also eat more foods with high protein content when I eat, such as fish, shrimp, pigeon soup, etc.
Finally, let me talk about the experience of this surgery. Everyone has to take good care of their body. Nowadays, too many young people stay up late and eat some unhealthy foods. Pay more attention in daily life and eat less unhealthy foods. Don’t stay up late! Finally, Live a good life, maintain a peaceful and optimistic attitude, be less angry and smile more !
