The old saying goes "The snow in the public courtyard is clear", which means that the snow stops and the sky is clear, and the truth is revealed. However, reality is often the opposite. Flying snow and silver covers have been an opportunity to cover up the truth and even create mystery since ancient times. Otherwise, there would be no "Blizzard Villa" model known to everyone in mystery novels. Today's narrative notes are about the "tiger in the snow" recorded in many notes in in the Qing Dynasty . It seems extremely mysterious, but in fact, if you carefully savor it, it has a deep meaning.

1. The Fighting of the Car Cap: Hiking thousands of miles apart every year
First, let’s introduce the protagonist of the story - Fang Guancheng .
Fang Guancheng's name is Xiagu, an ancient city of Tongcheng, Anhui Province. He was a famous minister during the Yongqian period of the Qing Dynasty. This person was extremely legendary in his life. With a slight change, he became a TV series with a tortuous plot.
The fate of a person is half independent and half determined by heaven, but it is rare to see people like Fang Guancheng who can get a bad handful of bad cards that can't be more bad after birth. Anyone who has a little understanding of Qing history should have heard of the major case of " Nanshan Ji ". Kangxi in the fifty years, because Dai Mingshi mostly uses the current affairs of the Southern Ming King Gui in "Dian and Guizhou Jiwen" by Fang Xiaobiao, and uses the Yongli year name, so he was killed and hundreds of people were implicated. It was one of the most influential literary inquisitions in the Kangxi Dynasty. Fang Guancheng's father, Shinji and grandfather Fang Dengyi were exiled to Heilongjiang for this, and his family suddenly fell into ruin. Although Fang Guancheng was exempted from exile because of his youth, his livelihood was difficult. The "Xi Chao Xinyu" said that it was thanks to a monk from Qingliangshan Temple in Nanjing who believed that he was "an extraordinary person" and often helped him, so he barely survived. According to the Qing Dynasty notes "Houlu of Hezheng", Fang Guancheng liked to read "Chu Ci" when he was young, but he couldn't help but sigh: "It would be ominous if he loved to read "Li Sao". In fact, from another perspective, only people with ups and downs can understand the taste of "Li Sao".
, one of the main notes of the "Tiger in the Snow" incident, said in "Miaoxiangshi Cong Talk" that Fang Guancheng "goes to visit his relatives outside the Great Wall every year, always hiking alone, traveling thousands of miles", which means that he hikes to Heilongjiang every year to visit his father and grandfather. The author of "Yongxianzhai Notes" Chen Qiyuan recorded an adventure of his Gaozu, Duke Yanan, which can be proved: "Yongzheng Ding had not had a test, so he took a car with Ren and Mr. Shen Jiaoyuan. Every day, he always saw a boy walking along with him and asked him about it, saying that the son of Fang from Tongcheng was going to visit his relatives and was short of money, so he walked." Duke Yanan and Duke Yanan and Duke Yanan felt that this was a filial son, so they asked him to get on the car, but the carriage was narrow and could not accommodate three people, so they discussed taking turns to take the car and walking one by one, which saved the boy a total of sixty miles of labor. When they bid farewell, they said to each other with care. Twenty years later, Duke Yanan and Shen Jiaoyuan have become local officials and went to Beijing to meet each other. "On the way, a sudden Zhili Governor General came to visit him and invited him to the Jie Office." The Governor of Zhili was the leader of the border officials, with a high position and a powerful position. The two were very different from him. They didn't know each other and didn't know what happened. When they met, they realized that the Governor was the young man who invited the same car. The three friends shook hands and hugged each other, and their eyes were filled with tears. "Zhang Yan had a happy drinking for ten days, which was called the friendship between the car and the hat, and it was once a beautiful talk."

"Yongxianzhai Notes"
This bitter and bumpy period has left many scars in Fang Guancheng's heart, but it has also tempered his heart. "Yongxianzhai Notes" quoted a dictum from Fang Guancheng: At the end of one year, the wind was cold and Fang Guancheng was dressed in rags. Thinking of how many money he asked for when he arrived at his relatives, "As soon as he arrived at the door, the servants were dressed and hung up in the capital, and sat on the two pillars of the door." Fang Guancheng was about to enter, but was stopped. He said he was seeking a visit to his relatives. The servants said that he was like a beggar, not to be the one who came to invest money. Fang Guancheng said that he would "get back late for a long time, he would never enter." He wandered in the streets and alleys for a long time and came to Lujia Lane. "The alley gate is a thoroughfare between the north and the south, and there is a slaughter of the country, and the city is like a struggle." The butcher sold meat and kept accounts, and he couldn't help but be in a hurry. The people who lined up to buy meat also complained because they were wasting time. So Fang Guancheng volunteered to help him keep accounts: "Borrow paper and pen in the store, put it a few sides, and the butcher cuts meat with his hands, and recites the number of words. I wrote quickly, and after a while, I had already increased dozens of papers."The butcher smiled and said that you can keep accounts faster than me cutting meat. At night, the butcher invited him to his home for dinner, claiming his surname was Hu. He heard him telling his life experience and was filled with emotion, saying that it was almost the end of the year and business was getting more and more prosperous, so you might as well help me. So from this day on, Fang Guancheng kept helping the butcher Hu kept accounts, and at night he took down the door panel to make a bed, laying grass into a mattress, and covering it with cloth into a quilt. On New Year's Eve, the butcher Hu and his wife bought wine, dishes, and meat, and sautéed the New Year with him. On the first day of the New Year, the butcher Hu and his wife gave him a new set of clothes: "A blue cloth robe, a new cloth robe. Close-fitting underwear and trousers, with complete internal and external decoration. One cloth socks and one shoe. "Fang Guancheng was very grateful and thanked him repeatedly, and said goodbye on the fifth day of the first lunar month.
2. A white tiger: The god of Galan called the "first aid hotline"
"Miaoxiangshi Conghua" records that after leaving Hu Tuhu's house, Fang Guancheng went to Hangzhou and met a person who looked at the face of the West Lake. As soon as he saw him, he bowed and said, "The noble man is here!" "Then he said that he would be awarded title and prefecture in the future and his official career was successful. Fang Guancheng smiled and said that he was the "son of sinners" and did not even have the qualifications to take the imperial examination. How could he become an official? The prime minister even said "it was not difficult", and gave him twenty taels of silver to let him go to Beijing, and agreed with him: "In the future, he would control Shaanxi and Gansu. If there is a general , , the military should be killed, so please pay attention to it. "Fang Guancheng thought that he could control Shaanxi and Gansu by begging? He laughed silently, but he could not disobey his good intentions, so he went to the capital. As a result, when he arrived in Zhili, his luggage, including the twenty taels of silver, was stolen. It was winter, and Fang Guancheng was penniless and hungry and cold, so he had to take a detour to Baoding, wanting to borrow some money from an old friend.
"Come to Baihe , it was snowing heavily, and it was frozen to death by the ancient temple. "When I woke up in the morning, the monk in the temple opened the temple door and "seeing a tiger lying", was startled and hurriedly told the abbot. When the abbot came out, he saw a tiger lying in the snow, but he didn't move. He thought it might be a dead tiger, so he went up to take a closer look, "Seeing the male lying in the snow", and hurriedly dug him out of the snow, helped him into the temple, and took medicine, which took him to wake him up for a long time.

"Miaoxiangshi Cong Talk"
Wu Chichang's description of this incident in "Guest Window Gossip" is more legendary (this article title For "A certain Gong Bao", although the person who was not a famous person is Fang Guancheng, the story was completely based on his experience). It is said that Fang Guancheng had arrived in Baoding, but the old friend had left here and went to the south. He "lost his homeland, and he visited several fellow villagers, but he was unable to help him." He was recommended to copy the official documents at the vassal office, "I got dozens of dollars a day, and I only spent my life." A few months later, he had a malaria attack. The north always believed that the disease was not cured, so he simply threw him out of the vassal office. "It was heavy snow that pressed the public, and the heat was relieved by the snow. I woke up and knew the reason and went north angrily. "When you reach Caohe (i.e. Baihe), the snow is getting heavier and heavier. "If you can't tell the road, you will rush into the river and you will be unable to get up. "There is a temple on the river. The old monk who was the abbot was sleeping around the fire. He dreamed that the god of Galan told him, "If you are in trouble, go and save him quickly. "The old monk went out and saw a white tiger lying in Hanoi." After a closer look, he found that it was a beggar. The old monk didn't know his life or death and did not dare to help him rashly. When he returned to the house, he just lay down and dreamed that the god of Galan said angrily: "Menagers are based on compassion and do not save them when they die. The disaster will be for you. "The old monk quickly fished Fang Guancheng out of the river, "remove the wet clothes, warm the quilt, and put it in ginger soup to soak."

"Guest Window Gossip"
These two records are obvious that "Miaoxiang Shi Cong Talk" is more credible, while "Guest Window Gossip" is mostly interpreted. A person in rags lie in the snow. From a distance, he looks like a tiger with patterns all over his body. But what does it mean to say that the old monk called the 120 first aid hotline in the two dreams of the old monk, which is really the novelist's words.
Fang Guancheng was saved, lived in the temple for a while before entering Beijing.According to historical records, he first made a living by calculating characters at Donghuamen. Once, the prince of Ping County passed by and found that the words on his sign were well written, so he asked him to come to the palace to chat. Here we need to "interrupt" a piece of Yao Nai in "Xibaoxuan Wenhou Collection" and the other party's record and evaluation of the difficult period: "Public welfare is difficult, but in this, he was very determined to encourage learning, and he knew the benefits and diseases of the world, and the customs of human nature, so he became a great talent!" After talking to Fang Guancheng, Fu Peng was deeply impressed by his talent. When he went to the Junggar, he appointed him as the clerk, and later recommended him to Emperor Yongzheng. "Shizong ordered him to be summoned with common people and gave him the title of Secretariat to go with him. He was awarded the title of Secretariat for his military achievements to be given to the Secretariat of the Cabinet." From then on, he became successful.
"Xi Baoxuan's Wenhou Collection" records that he "at the beginning of Qianlong's reign, he was promoted to the Ministry of Personnel and was appointed as the Qinghedao of Zhili, and was promoted to the governor of Zhejiang, and was promoted to the governor of Zhejiang, and in the 14th year of Qianlong's reign, he was appointed as the governor of Zhili."
3. Thirteen court sends: "Top" of Emperor Qianlong
Whether Yongzheng or Qianlong, they can probably be regarded as promising politicians in Chinese history. When selecting and employing people, they pay special attention to examining their actual talents. As the saying goes, "If you don't have a few tricks, you can't play with them." The reason why Fang Guancheng was able to rise to the top was largely because in addition to studying unremittingly, the knowledge gained from long-term wandering life was also internalized into a talent for helping the world during the times. "Go to Guest Window" says that he "adopted refugees in the middle of winter, and all the provinces were placed in the rest and maintenance bureaus, without hunger and cold people; in the area, they also opened paddy fields, opened rivers and canals, and set up bridges. People in the north were not accustomed to growing cotton, so they hired men and women from the south to guide him; they also restored Yi Cang and made "Yi Cang Picture", which stored all four townships for relief. Therefore, the upper and lower levels were cleared, and the towns were abundant"... All the things involved in people's livelihood, and it can be seen that the bumpy experiences of the youth of the other party's life were positive.
Yuan Mei records a serious conflict between Fang Guancheng and Emperor Qianlong in "Xiaocang Shanfang Collection". Perhaps from one side, he can see his deep sympathy for the poor. "The rebel bandits in Cizhou were in chaos, and the Duke punished three people and slaughtered seven people. The emperor suspected that the Duke had made some fame and was in a strict order to supervise it, and indirectly sent it to the thirteen courts overnight." In ancient times, treason was a major crime. Once it was wiped out, the people who made rebellion often did not distinguish between good and bad, and it was the best to kill them indiscriminately. Fang Guancheng only sentenced a total of ten people to death, which undoubtedly made Emperor Qianlong think that he was too lenient and sought fame, so he "supervised it strictly." After receiving thirteen consecutive letters from the court, "the family was worried about the unexpected intentions of the saint, and they cried all the rain", Fang Guancheng was unwavering, insisting on the previous proposal, and taking the lead with Emperor Qianlong. Emperor Qianlong was furious and "the bidding became more powerful", so he simply issued an order to remove the arrested rebels to the verge and be tried by the Nine Ministers and Ministers of Military Affairs. It is said that it is a verbal trial, and it is even more a verbal trial. But in the end, it was discovered that Fang Guancheng's judgment strictly implemented the "Law of the Qing Dynasty", and there was no injustice to kill or indulge in vain. This moved Emperor Qianlong very much, "and "they died as if the public was discussing, and from then on the public became more and more serious than the public."

"Xiaocang Shanfang Collection"
"Miaoxiangshi Cong Talk" says that during Fang Guancheng's tenure as the governor of Shaanxi and Gansu, "the general was killed by a certain military opportunity, and he was forced to excuse him." This general was the son of the photographer... Of course, this was specially arranged to "complete" the plot in the previous plot to make the story perfect. The real "end" is sad. After Fang Guancheng became the governor of Zhili, he recalled the end of the year when he had no way to join his relatives and had no food and clothing. He recalled the butcher surnamed Hu who took him for the New Year in the most difficult time. He always wanted to repay him, so he sent his subordinates to take silver to find him and told his subordinates that if the butcher of Hu was willing to come, he would prepare a horse to welcome him to the office. When his subordinates found Hu Tuhu's home according to the address, they learned that "the Hu couple has died for a long time." Fang Guancheng burst into tears after hearing this...
The authenticity of the "tiger in the snow" should be undoubtedly. After all, many of the famous officials in ancient China had experiences of poverty and despair and helplessness.Let’s talk about the Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong periods, Gao Shiqi, who was "depressed and impoverished, and self-supported in writing", Ortai , "don't be full all day long", Qian Chen Qun , 'home without staying in the house, and Lu Yi, who leaned on his ten fingers to give it to him, and Wang Tingzhen, who "eat one day or not, or not eating all day long"... all had the experience of "lying on snow". In a sense, their spirit of hard work and hard work is really like a tiger trapped in the snow but ambitions exceeding hundreds of beasts. In ancient notes, they often regard "tigers in the snow" as a sign of development sooner or later. Isn't that a pity!
