Xinxiang WTT World Cup Finals 2022 will officially start on October 27. This event will have 16 singles seats for men and women, and 19 players have been qualified for the competition. Among them, the remaining 13 places will be determined based on the world ranking after the end of WTT Macau Championship 2022. At present, national table tennis players Lin Gaoyuan and Chen Xingtong have won wild cards to participate in the WTT Macau Championship 2022, and are striving to compete for the finals of the Xinxiang World Cup.

According to the competition rules, the points threshold for men's singles players to Xinxiang are 1450 points. Currently in this position is Chinese Taipei player Zhuang Zhiyuan . The threshold for women's singles players is 970 points, and the German player Shan Xiaona is currently in this position. The rankings of these two players are not enough to ensure qualifying, as other players can earn enough points through WTT Macau Championship 2022 to obtain a place.
At present, Chinese athletes Lin Gaoyuan and Chen Xingtong have obtained wild cards to participate in the WTT Macau Championship 2022. The two will compete with other players for the quota to the Xinxiang WTT World Cup final 2022.

For women, Chen Xingtong successfully advanced to the quarter-finals and will be qualified for the competition. If she is eliminated in or before the 18th final, and six players who rank below her and advance to or after the 18th final, coupled with the specific ranking of the players, she may lose the qualification for the World Cup.
According to the schedule, the WTT Macau Championship 2022 will kick off at the Macau Tashi Stadium on October 19.
