iPad Pro with M2 and MagSafe should be available in the fall

Since Apple did not launch any new iPad Pro models at this month's Peek Performance event, it makes sense that new models are expected to be launched between September and November this year. In a previous report, Apple plans to launch “the most extensive new hardware lineup in the company’s history” in fall 2022, and the possibility that the new lineup will include newer iPad Pro models is increasing.

The new iPad Pro models were launched in March 2016, June 2017, October 2018, March 2020 and April 2021, respectively, which means Apple appears to be planning to update its product line between 13 and 16 months. This year the iPad Pro lasts longer. Assume that it can now be put on the market within 19 months of the current model being released. This also means that the 2021 iPad Pro is probably one of the longest-lasting models.

There have been few rumors about the next generation of iPad Pro in recent months, and the new iPro Pad models are expected to be equipped with MagSafe charging and M2 chips. The M2 chip is expected to have the same 8-core CPU as the M1, but it will be faster and more efficient thanks to TSMC's 4-nanometer process. There are also rumors that the chip will have additional GPU cores with 9-core and 10-core GPU options instead of the 7-core and 8-core GPU options for the M1 chip.
