The first "EV Kit" can provide system developers with a Drive-by-wire vehicle-side platform. This platform will open vehicle-side communication information (CAN communication protocol) so that developers can develop on autonomous driving, smart cockpits and power systems. In the past, when developers were developing systems, they would have to spend resources and time to obtain system information in the car, and they could not change the settings in the car. In the future, after becoming a MIH developer with the first "EV Kit", he can participate in alliance discussions and specification formulation, including wheelbase, wheelbase, ground height, battery pack, chassis suspension, etc., which can be set according to needs to meet different product orientations.
In addition, "EV Kit" will also provide Level 4 or above self-driving technologies, including ADLINK, AutoCore and Tier IV. All have joined MIH and have divided the labor on different levels of autonomous driving. For example, ADLINK provides hardware and communication modules; AutoCore provides computing platform design solutions; Tier IV is responsible for defining the functional requirements of the software application layer.
