Yueqing public parks started late, and the pattern of 3 public parks in the city has lasted for decades, and it only began to gradually build them in 2013. In March 2015, among all counties and cities in Wenzhou, Yueqing was the first to formulate a special plan for preschool education layout. In order to actively respond to the implementation of the national "comprehensive two-child policy" and the new household registration reform policy, in August 2017, Yueqing City adjusted and improved the original layout special plan based on the number, distribution, growth trends of preschool children and the current kindergarten status, combined with urban transformation, organic renewal and post-demolition land use.
Yueqing has accelerated the construction of public kindergartens in recent years. Last year, the Yueqing Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government established the development goal of preschool education: each township and streets should run at least one public central kindergarten, 2-3 middle towns and streets should build 3-5 towns and towns with a larger population. By 2020, 43 new public kindergartens will be added, and the city's public kindergartens will increase from 17 to 60. In April this year, 16 public kindergartens held a concentrated groundbreaking ceremony, with a total investment of nearly 300 million yuan, and a scale of 159 classes. A number of public kindergartens will be started in the second half of the year.
