On July 14, 2018, a delegation from the Taiwan education community came to the Weinan Rail Transportation School of Huashan Education Group for exchange activities.


This education delegation is mainly composed of 32 teachers from cities and counties such as Taipei, Taichung , Tainan, New Taipei , Changhua and other cities. The delegation arrived at the Weinan Rail Transportation School of Huashan Education Group. The group chairman Ren Yongmin led the guests to visit the campus and explained to them the basic situation of the school's development history and other basic situations.






Before the symposium, the students of our school’s etiquette club were quite amazed by the members of the delegation, and they took out their mobile phones to record these wonderful moments.

At the subsequent seminar held, the two sides exchanged and discussed issues related to education. Participated in this symposium: Wu Hejun, the head of the Taiwan delegation (principal of Hesheng Primary School in Pingtung County); Luo Meizhi, the group consultant (teacher of Tang Rong Primary School in Pingtung County); Wu Nanning (director of Taipei China Foundation), Chen Meirong (program manager of Taipei China Foundation); Wang Birong, the leader of the primary school group; Shi Zhenyu, the leader of the National Middle School Group; Zhang Jiaren, the leader of the high school group, and 32 teachers from Taipei, Taichung, Tainan, New Taipei, Changhua and other cities and counties. Zhang Shuzhong, deputy director of the Third Department of the United Front Work Department of the Provincial Party Committee; Zhang Lijun, deputy director of the United Front Work Department of the Municipal Party Committee; Guo Yongtao, director of the Taiwan Affairs Office.

At the symposium, the teacher representatives of both sides exchanged views on the development situation of vocational schools, school enrollment, training, and employment situation. Chairman Ren Yongmin answered the teaching concepts, teaching methods, development prospects of vocational education, and student employment proposed by delegation members one by one. Through this exchange activity, we have discovered many characteristics of education and teaching on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, which are worth learning from.

Both sides discussed the current situation of education in mainland China and Taiwan, pointed out the problems they have in the development of education, and actively exchanged opinions to absorb the other party's favorable side in the development of education.
Representative Leader Wu Hejun said that from the moment I entered the campus, I was very excited. Seeing the mental outlook of the students, the chairman's high passion and emotional explanation, my fatigue was gone. At the age of 70, I was also inspired, full of passion and confidence increased. He also said that we all have a Chinese heart. How to cultivate Chinese children into upright Chinese is the common goal of both sides of the Taiwan Strait. We hope that through this exchange, teachers on both sides of the Taiwan Strait will enhance their understanding and achieve more educational consensus.
Chairman said at the symposium that this visit to the education delegation is an excellent platform for teachers and students from Taiwan and Mainland to develop education and strengthen exchanges. We hope that each other can exchange experiences, share corporate information resources, enhance friendship between Taiwan and Mainland college students, and further promote exchanges and cooperation between our school and Taiwan schools. He also said that the implementation of this activity will further enhance cultural exchanges between compatriots in the two places, strengthen cultural integration between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait, enhance cultural identity and belonging of the people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, and feel the cultural concepts of their own characteristics, and also build a platform for compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait to enhance friendship, exchange experiences, share family affection, and promote development together. We hope that both sides will continue to deepen their understanding, learn experience, share opportunities, work together to make positive contributions to promoting cross-strait education and teaching work and the inheritance of traditional culture. The leaders of Huashan Education Group, teachers and students of Weinan Rail Transportation School took photos with Taiwanese friends, and the symposium brought to an end in a quiet and pleasant atmosphere.
