In 2021, Huaian District invested 80 million yuan to comprehensively renovate nine old communities including Century Jiayuan, Jinling Mingfu, District Government, Finance Bureau, Education Commission, and Taxation Bureau dormitories.
Century Jiayuan Community was built in 2000 with a construction area of 335,000 square meters, with a total of 100 buildings and 3,372 households. Since the beginning of this year, the community's roads, pipelines, greening, street lights, monitoring, pipelines, etc. have been comprehensively renovated, asphalt roads and rainwater and sewage pipelines have been newly paved, parking spaces, iron fences, smart charging car sheds, etc. have been added, the overall appearance has been completely renewed and the quality has been significantly improved.
Zhouqing went deep into the community to check the transformation results on the spot, inquired in detail about capital investment, completion acceptance, existing problems, etc., and expressed affirmation of the overall transformation effect, greening environment, facility supporting facilities and entry and exit management of the community. Zhou Qing emphasized that on the basis of good transformation, we must strengthen the sanitation and cleaning, technical defense construction and supporting service management of the community, explore normal and long-term management mechanisms, comprehensively improve the level of rectification, and make the people feel more gained.
The Finance Bureau dormitory was built in 1998 and has problems such as old facilities and exposed pipelines. The renovation plan for the old community is to comprehensively renovate the roads, pipelines, rain and sewage pipelines, inner and outer walls, public stair handrails and railings, main entrances and exits of the community. At present, the community is carrying out pipeline rectification projects to solve the problem of "spider web flying lines".
