All the communities around the hospital and neighbors were alerted. Taoyuan Municipal Government coordinated the 33rd Chemical Soldier Group of the 6th Army Corps and the Municipal Government Environmental Protection Bureau to visit the Taoyuan District and Bade District around the hospital, and went to the community alleys and streets to carry out comprehensive disinfection. A large number of chemical soldiers wearing white protective suits entered the car with disinfectants and were cleaned back and forth with MD-105 heavy disinfection trucks, hoping to completely eliminate the terrible virus.
The Colonel Commander of the 6th Corps Gong Longfeng said that officers and soldiers have been reminded to pay attention to the safety of people and vehicles, avoid spraying food on merchants and restaurants, and mainly spraying agents to cover the ground to avoid military-civilian disputes.
In the morning, the Taoyuan Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau was responsible for the three lilies of Longshan, Longshou and Longxiangli in Taoyuan District, and dispatched 30 disinfection personnel.
The 33rd Chemical Soldier Group of the 6th Army Corps dispatched 33 chemical soldiers to be responsible for the four lis of Jiaming, Gaocheng, Gaoming and Yongfengli in Bade District. A total of 66 disinfection team members were mobilized to protect the health of citizens, and disinfection was completed today.
The Municipal Government Health Bureau pointed out that early this morning, the 33rd Chemical Soldier Group of the 6th Army Corps and the Municipal Government Environmental Protection Bureau dispatched 2 water mist disinfection vehicles, 3 barrel disinfection vehicles, 45 html sterilizers, 10 sterilizers, 1 Hummer, 1 3.5-ton load-load vehicle, 2 MD-105 heavy disinfection vehicles, and 1 MDS-106 light poisoning device, using 1,000ppm of bleaching water for environmental cleaning and disinfection. Thanks to the 6th Army Corps for supporting manpower and equipment to reduce community risks.
The Municipal Government Environmental Protection Bureau also mentioned that when the epidemic broke out last year, the Environmental Protection Bureau established an epidemic prevention and disinfection brigade, with a total of 170 disinfection team members, 33 disinfection vehicles and 97 back-loaded disinfection machines, and regularly disinfection sites such as traffic stations, hypermarkets, markets and schools. Last year, a total of 3,325 team members were dispatched and 7,158 disinfection times were disinfected. The epidemic is currently serious, and Mayor Zheng Wencan also instructed the Environmental Protection Bureau’s Epidemic Prevention and Disinfection Brigade to increase the frequency and change the disinfection twice a week to once.
