If you are looking for a codec chart that has all the features you want, plus voice navigation, then the new Bryton S800 should be on your list.
S800 is improved on the basis of Rider 750 and S500, and has replaced a new generation of screens with larger, brighter and higher contrast. It has added a group chat function of voice to text, allowing riders to achieve online communication without using both hands when riding a bike. At the same time, the battery life of the new meter has increased to an astonishing 36 hours, and the battery life can even reach up to 40 hours without using the map navigation page!
In addition, the code table has covered all the functions required by a driver. Let us learn more about it below.

From the outside, it is smoother and more rounder than the Rider series. The huge 3.4″ color touch screen allows users to see more information on the same screen. Of course, you can also control the amount of content displayed on the screen by setting and adding supporting applications, and you can even choose color numbers or traditional monochrome digital displays.
This screen itself uses a new technology called MIP (pixel memory), which is combined with the internal reflection layer, and displays it in the outdoor sun by eliminating the "screen shadow". The screen border is very narrow, so the screen occupies most of the front area, which is very similar to the modern intelligence. Can be used for mobile phones.
installation base is compatible with the most common Garmin, but also has Bryton's own code stand specifications. If you are unwilling to replace it, Bryton also provides alternatives that can be interchanged with the Garmin base.
Although Bryton does not claim that the product has any aerodynamic characteristics, the front end is most aerodynamic in terms of appearance. The code stand clip ring that comes with the package is 31.8mm, and if you are a 35mm specification user, you need to look for other alternatives.
. S800 data screen and options
There are almost no restrictions on the data that can be displayed on the S800 and the way of displaying data. All commonly used data are already included, plus some more modern data, such as electric gear ratio, left and right power balance, and even sitting and standing riding time (must be compatible with power meter lock pedal). What is important is that they are all colored.
A quick status menu (bottom right of the picture above) can display your most critical number by setting settings According to the paired devices, just click on the screen to see this pop-up window.
If you are taking a pre-planned route, you can see all the slopes you want to climb on the screen. When you are about to arrive, it will prompt that the climbing is already progressing. Different colors represent different slope levels. When the "Climbing Challenge" function is turned on, it will automatically switch to the "Climbing" page, displaying the estimated remaining time, as well as other set-up indicators. Once the climbing is completed, it will jump back to the previous page.
. Navigation options
Put it with Garmin When a driving radar like Varia is paired, it beeps when the car approaches behind you and provides a visual color indicator bar. As the car approaches, the color bar on the right side of the screen changes from green to orange and then red.
The pre-installed OSM map allows us to easily navigate anywhere we want to go. When the S800 is paired with a phone, you can use voice navigation to tell it where you want to go, or search for points of interest with specific locations.
Select a previously saved "favorite" destination, drag and "place pins" on the map, or select from the search results, and the navigation will automatically redirect. If in the matching Bryton Creating lines on Active applications or other third-party maps/APPs can also have the same effect, and the S800 will also provide the direction of these data.
Bryton S800 also allows users to trace back the route they have already ridden, return to their destination, or just enter a distance to give it some random routes to choose from, which should help users stay fresh and not get lost when exploring new paths.
. Group riding and group chat
It is very interesting to be able to ride with friends, but if the abilities of people in the team are different, the team may be distanced and it is difficult to track everyone's situation. But with the "group ride" function, you can create your own S800 owner group so that everyone can see where others are, share a route, and stay in touch throughout the ride.
Group riding function requires everyone to pair their code chart with their phone, so that they can put their phone in their pocket while sending messages to others. Just tap the Talking key and you can dictate your message and send it out, as well as send a pre-edited quick reply.
new code chart also has a real-time tracking feature: if you create a shared location link to share with friends and family, they can track your itinerary in real time through the web page.
. Training plan and indoor training control
S800 can also cooperate with indoor smart devices to become a powerful training partner. This application has three basic training methods, but the original intention of this function is to use third-party (such as TrainingPeaks) data for training, and synchronize them in real time to the code table, and then upload the training results for faster use in future training.
S800 can automatically adjust the resistance of the riding platform, or manually adjust personalized settings such as power, strength, and resistance to meet your requirements.
