Recently, a director of China National Petroleum Corporation and Sinopec resigned due to work adjustments.
On June 7, the official website of China National Petroleum Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "China National Petroleum Corporation") issued an announcement stating that the board of directors of our company hereby announces that Mr. Yu Baocai has submitted his resignation to the company due to job adjustments and resigned from his position as a director of the company. Mr. Yu Baocai will step down as a member of the Board of Directors Assessment and Remuneration Committee at the same time. The resignation takes effect on the day.
On the same day, the official website of China Petroleum and Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Sino Chemical") issued an announcement stating that the board of directors of China Petroleum and Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Sino Chemical" or "the Company") received a resignation report from Mr. Jiao Fangzheng on June 7, 2018. Mr. Jiao Fangzheng resigned from his positions as executive director, member of the Board of Directors' Strategic Committee and senior vice president due to work adjustments. Mr. Jiao Fangzheng confirmed that he had no different opinions from the board of directors of Sinopec, nor did he have any matters that must be brought to the attention of Sinopec shareholders for this resignation.
Yu Baocai According to the official resume, Yu Baocai is a senior engineer and master's degree, and has more than 30 years of work experience in the China Petroleum and Petrochemical industry. Since September 1999, Yu Baocai has served as deputy general manager and member of the Party Committee of China Petroleum Daqing Petrochemical Company, general manager and deputy secretary of the Party Committee of China Petroleum Daqing Petrochemical Company, general manager and deputy secretary of the Party Committee of China Petroleum Daqing Petrochemical Company, and general manager and secretary of the Party Committee of China Petroleum Lanzhou Petrochemical Company. In September 2008, Yu Baocai took office as deputy general manager and member of the Party Leadership Group of China National Petroleum Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "China National Petroleum Corporation"), and was appointed as a director of China National Petroleum Corporation in May 2011.

Jiao FangzhengJiao Fangzheng is a professor-level senior engineer and graduated from a doctoral degree. Since January 1999, Jiao Fangzheng has served as chief geologist of the China Petroleum Exploration Bureau of China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Sino Chemical Corporation"), deputy manager and chief geologist of the of the Sinopec Zhongyuan Oilfield Branch, deputy director of the Sinopec Petroleum Exploration and Development Research Institute, deputy director of the Sinopec Oilfield Exploration and Development Department, director of the Northwest Petroleum Bureau of China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, general manager of the Sinopec Northwest Oilfield Branch, vice president of Sinopec, and vice president of Sinopec and director of the Sinopec Oilfield Exploration and Development Department. In July 2014, Jiao Fangzheng took office as a member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy General Manager of Sinopec Group.
