Recently, the official website of Autodesk released a feature update for the Revit 2022 version. After BOX, there are still many new features worth paying attention to. New export PDF function
Now you can directly export 2D views and drawings to PDF files, export a single PDF file, or merge multiple selected views and drawings into a PDF file and export them together. You can customize naming rules when exporting in batches.
Drawing of conical walls
New function allows you to create variable-width wall types, that is, conical walls, where the cone angle can be defined in the "wall type". You can also choose to use the top, bottom or foundation of the wall as the measurement location for the total width of the wall.

The new "keyword list" function logic is as follows:
➤ First create a series of shared parameters in a family as the controlled parameters.
➤ Create a detailed list in the project, select the "Detail list keyword", give it a name, as the "key" for batch control parameters.
➤ In the detailed list attribute, add parameters that need to be batch controlled by the "key" to the field.
➤ Insert any row. The first column in the figure below is what types of "key" are there, and there are four types in total. Fill all parameters of each type into values, such as fill in 4 different numbers on the width of the last item.
➤ In the project, there is no need to modify the value of each parameter one by one. You only need to select the "key". In the figure below, if the "hardware group" is selected as "class", then all the corresponding shared parameters in the detailed list will be automatically assigned to the value. The idea of

As for whether it can replace the volume function, we think it is not possible for the time being. The interaction in parameters is not as strong as the volume, but it is still very effective to quickly create some sketch solutions.

Improvements to mark, annotation and revision functions
