The second phase is a media question, and the candidates will be asked by five media outlets, namely China Times, Apple, United Daily News, Central News Agency and Free Times. A total of five questions are answered in turn by three candidates, the question time is 1 minute and the answer time is 2 minutes and 30 seconds. The topics cover cross-strait, economy, democracy and other issues.
The third stage is cross-question. The three candidates will ask questions about Taiwan’s political vision, and the other two candidates will respond in the order of Han Kuo-yu, Song Chu-yu and Tsai Ing-wen. The question time is 1 minute and the answer time is 2 minutes.
