Cai Jialun: Hello!

Auto Parts Circle: First of all, please tell us what preparations the company has made before participating in the exhibition? Or what kind of exhibition results it hopes to achieve?

Cai Jialun: We think that the company has come to participate in the Shanghai Frankfurt Exhibition for many years. This is an opportunity to showcase the company's development achievements throughout the year, so we hope that the results of our efforts will be presented at this exhibition, so that all our dealers and overseas customers can see the results of our whole year. Another very important thing is that we hope to present the future plan throughout the exhibition, including our five cores, the concept of the manufacturing process, and the online part, so that customers can understand how we make more complete supporting product outputs for the market.

Auto Parts Circle: This exhibition has been going on for the second day. From the current perspective, what is the effect? ​​

Cai Jialun: The effect is good, and in fact, thanks to everyone's support, there are endless visitors. We also hope to contact more new customers so that our Shanduoli's market can expand a little, and achieve this goal through such an international event.

Auto Parts Circle: Shanduoli is very well-known in the industry, so what measures does the company have in terms of marketing promotion and channels?

Cai Jialun: There are three main points: domestic car manufacturers supporting facilities, cooperation with foreign OEM, and our own domestic brand sales. These three channels are actually mature for us, but we hope to realize the so-called interactive resources next year. That is to say, in the brand field, we can expand overseas markets, and through resources such as overseas cooperative manufacturers, we can have a certain degree of maturity, promote our brand outward, and deepen the OEM part, whether foreign or domestic, to expand to a global and more universal level of cooperation. For the foreign market, we also hope to have an opportunity to contact abroad in the future and expand broader on a stable basis.

Auto Parts Circle: In fact, in China, auto parts e-commerce is also a hot topic. Many companies have certain actions. Does Shanduoli have some measures in e-commerce, or what do you think of the current e-commerce?

Cai Jialun: Shanduoli cooperated with JD in 2011, and we did not terminate the contract until last year. Because e-commerce is a relatively new project for the auto parts industry. In recent years, consumers have received a high degree of acceptance of our wiper projects and have gradually understood the difference between the brand and quality of our wiper compared with other ones. So for us, it is a very mature opportunity to enter the e-commerce channel now. I mentioned just now that we terminated the cooperation last year because after years of cooperation experience, we began to plan our own e-commerce this year. For example, we understand the operating models of Tmall and JD.com, and our company decided to do these tasks ourselves. So in 2017, we will launch our own e-commerce platform, because only when we do it ourselves can the services we provide are the most direct and best.

Auto Parts Circle: Only by yourself can you provide better services and serve more people.

Cai Jialun: Yes, because in addition to emphasizing quality, our company also hopes that our company’s five core concepts and service concepts can be directly conveyed to the final consumers.

Auto Parts Circle: We also had an exclusive interview with Shan Duoli this year. Looking back at what measures did Shan Duoli take in product research and development and technological innovation in 2016?

Cai Jialun: Our company has more than 20 years of experience in making wipers in this industry. In fact, in the early days, there were not many domestic wipers manufacturers. The entire market has been in a red ocean. We have always adhered to quality. The reason for insisting on quality is that its linkage involves safety. So, if the product is not safe, it will not be produced. We make breakthroughs in R&D and product optimization. At the same time, we also believe that the wiper industry is a very mature industry. It is difficult to develop a product that refreshes everyone. To be honest, it is difficult for the entire industry, so we still have to silently do every detail to the best. This is our purpose of doing research and development and constantly making progress.

Auto Parts Circle: In fact, part of the reason is that the current automotive aftermarket industry, including the wiper market, is increasingly competitive. Everyone is considering how to innovate and develop new products. This is also beneficial, which can encourage us to keep up with the pace of development of the times and do better!

Cai Jialun: Yes. Innovation is of course what everyone hopes for, and we can also say that its maturity has been formed, so it is not easy to innovate at present. In addition, do we need to consider quality while doing innovation? Because some things, like innovation and quality, sometimes cannot have the best of both worlds. In this link, you have to invest more time and more manpower to do this. Then our company's persistence in this area is that the safety and quality that we have just emphasized are the first purpose for us. Therefore, if we develop a product that does not meet the safety standards, I don't think such innovation is real innovation.

Auto Parts Circle: What kind of corporate plans does Shanduoli have in the future?

Cai Jialun: I mentioned just now that in the market channel, we, Shanduoli, will obtain a greater market coverage through resource exchange. In addition, in the product part, in fact, we have collected a lot of information from market feedback this year. The wiper market has changed a lot, so now it is from the perspective of the versatility of a single product. We try to optimize the product from this perspective so that it can more meet the needs of consumers.

Auto Parts Circle: We also hope that Shanduoli will always maintain a leading position in the field of wipers, regardless of whether in R&D or channel expansion, for example, you said that you will do e-commerce yourself.
