I will bring cash into Taiwan, but how much is appropriate?
Taiwan to mainland China:
Mainland passengers not only come to enjoy the beautiful scenery after arriving in Taiwan, but also shopping is an indispensable part. But many fans have many myths in their minds. Can cosmetics enter the mainland? How many can I bring? The jerky sausage is delicious, can you take it home? Taiwan fruits are top-notch. I want to share them with my family, but can I bring them? In addition, Taiwan’s iPhone is relatively cheap, so how many iPhones can you bring back to the mainland?
Regarding the carrying of items entering and leaving Taiwan and the mainland, the summary after the Taiwan free travel investigation is as follows:
1, meat and its products, fresh fruits and vegetables, whether they enter the mainland or entering Taiwan (you can take them out of Taiwan and eliminate them on the plane).

The following are some detailed regulations on entering Taiwan and entering the mainland. Please pay special attention to those who like to buy:
Entering Taiwan:
Food: Meat, fresh fruits, plants, unquarantined animals, and live seafood cannot be brought into Taiwan. However, dried or processed aquatic products that meet the epidemic prevention regulations can be brought, such as dried abalone, shark fin, dried squid, etc. packaged and inspected by the Health Bureau. Eat rice (germ rice not possible), peanuts (limited cooked products), garlic (limited cooked products), dried golden needles, dried mushrooms, and tea leaves cannot exceed one kilogram. Honey is OK (bees are not allowed), and pastries with no meat fillings can be brought.
Medicines: Chinese medicinal materials cannot exceed 0.6 kg each, and up to 12 kinds of Chinese medicines, each 12 bottles of Chinese medicine, and up to 36 bottles. Each type of Western medicine can have a maximum of 12 bottles, and the total amount shall not exceed 36 bottles. If it is a prescription medicine, those who do not bring their doctor’s prescription prescription prescriptions are limited to the 2-month dosage, and those who have prescription prescriptions can bring the 6-month dosage.
Cash: brings NTD cash to the maximum of 100,000 yuan, RMB 20,000 yuan, and other foreign currencies are equivalent to US$10,000. If there is any excess, you should declare it when passing the customs and you can enter the country after approval.
Tobacco and alcohol: duty-free range is 1 liter of alcohol, 200 cigarettes (that is, 10 boxes, 1 piece), 25 cigars or 1 pound of tobacco.
Pet: Due to cross-strait relations, pet inspections need to pass a third country, which is very troublesome, so it is not recommended to bring children to Taiwan with them.
Special attention:
1. The total value of the traditional Chinese medicinal materials carried shall not exceed NT$10,000 (about RMB 2,000).
2. The bottles mentioned in the quantity of drugs have been limited to the "original packaging".
3. Carrying audio tapes, video tapes, records, CDs, books and other products with copyrights, each of which is limited to 1 copy.
4. If the amount of tobacco and alcohol is more than the tax-free amount, please take the initiative to declare to the customs. If the report is not reported and found, the excess will be confiscated and fined.
5. You must be over 20 years old to bring tobacco and alcohol.
Entering mainland:
Food: Meat (or products containing meat), fresh fruits, and vegetables cannot be brought. Pastry (meat is not included in the filling) can be brought. Non-alcoholic beverages such as tea and coffee can be brought. Seafood products can be brought because they are refined foods.
Cosmetics: mask can be brought or carried on the plane, lotion can be carried (liquids need to be checked). As for how much to bring, there is no restriction on leaving Taiwan (as long as your luggage is not overweight). However, if you carry too much into the mainland and are found to be deducted, the highest cost of cosmetics is as high as 50%.
Iphone: There is no problem in purchasing in Taiwan or leaving Taiwan, and you can also get a 5% tax refund. But when entering the mainland, you cannot bring too much. One or two pieces are OK for self-use (remember to open the box and activate it). If you bring too many, you will be deducted 10% of your tax if you find it.
Tobacco and alcohol: cannot carry more than 1500 ml of alcoholic beverages, or more than 400 cigarettes (20 small boxes, 2 pieces), or more than 100 cigarettes, or more than 500 grams of shredded tobacco. More than one part must be declared and taxed upon entry.
Books: General books can be brought without restrictions, but prints, film, photos, videos, CDs and other items that are harmful to mainland politics, economy, culture, and morality are prohibited from entering the country.
Others: The seeds of plants cannot be carried.
Special note:
Mainland customs stipulate that items purchased by residents and passengers abroad with a total value of more than RMB 5,000 are required to enter and declare taxes.
