On December 31, the Qujing Fire Rescue Detachment organized an emergency rescue drill for low-temperature ice and snow disasters in Malong's jurisdiction, and the district's fire protection, meteorology, emergency, medical and health care, environmental protection and other departments participated in the drill.
This emergency drill simulates the sudden drop in the temperature in Malong's jurisdiction, and roads are frozen. A car from Yunquan to Maming section of Sanqing Expressway and a semi-torched tanker carrying liquefied petroleum gas was rear-ended, causing the car to overturn and two people to be trapped, the liquefied petroleum gas tanker was damaged, and a leak occurred. In accordance with the emergency plan procedures, the meteorological department will be dispatched urgently and use the automatic emergency meteorological station to monitor the temperature, humidity, wind direction, wind speed and other meteorological factors in the surrounding area in real time, and report to the command center in a timely manner to provide a scientific decision-making basis for the emergency command center to carry out rescue.
Through this drill, the linkage mechanism of meteorological, emergency, fire protection, transportation, environmental protection and other departments has been further improved, the meteorological emergency linkage command mechanism and the ability to deal with sudden meteorological disasters has been tested, and the meteorological department’s practical emergency service capabilities have been trained and improved.
