Why do I go to Iran ? Perhaps because he is too mysterious, Iranians at 30° north latitude protect their common Persian culture in different cities; perhaps because they are relatively niche, they rarely see tourists even during the National Day tourist season; or perhaps the people here are very enthusiastic...
In short, various reasons have prompted my trip to Iran. Although it seems very far and mysterious, the cost of coming to Iran is generally quite cost-effective, even less than the money spent to visit Xinjiang. My 10-day itinerary and air ticket plus other expenses cost me less. If it weren't for National Day, the travel expenses would be cheaper, so I could start at 5,000 yuan.
Iran has too many places to visit, and I will never finish it for a while. Let me share 3 favorite attractions, and the tickets are not expensive. This is the must-check-in attraction for the first time in Iran. Let’s explore together!
Persepolis
This may be the most unmissable attraction in Iran. It is known as the Old Summer Palace in Iran, but it is estimated that it is much larger than the Old Summer Palace. Persepolis was founded in 522 BC. It took 70 years to build three generations of emperors before it was finally completed.
Once upon a time, how glorious it was, more than 2,500 years ago, the kingdom gates of nobles and foreign envoys from all over the world were waiting for, the palace "Acceptance Hall" for reception, the emperor's private bedroom "Tachara", etc. You can find ruins in the ruins of every once glorious building in the present Persepolis ruins. Although it is dilapidated, as long as you stand on the hillside behind, you will definitely be shocked by this scale. The ruins we see at present are just the tip of the iceberg of the once imperial city, which shows its once glory.
tips: The ticket is 200,000 rial because the exchange rate often changes, so it is not easy to convert RMB. According to my exchange rate at that time, it was almost equal to RMB 10, which is quite cost-effective.
Imam Square
If there is the most popular city in Iran, it must be Isfahan . You can not go to Shiraz , you can not go to Yazd, but you must go to Isfahan.
The reason is that there are too many attractions here, and many of them are world cultural heritage sites, and Imam Square is the most famous among them. Both tourists and locals in Iran love this square very much. Isfahan was once an important town on Silk Road , and Imam Square has become the core area of merchants and trade among the important towns. Although the Silk Road has long gone, it still presents a unique commercial atmosphere until now, that is, Big Bazaar next to Imam Square seems to inherit the tradition.
Imam Square has many highlights, such as Alikapu Palace, Imam Mosque , Sheikh Lotfura Mosque and the market in the north.
tips: There are many merchants selling saffron next to the Imam Square. If you go to buy, you must carefully look at the quality and don’t buy the wrong ones.
Yazd Ancient City
Many travelers will cancel the Yazd city because of the time being. In my opinion, this city is very consistent with the fireworks that I remember. Compared to Isfahan, it has fewer tourists, and compared to Shiraz, it is also more simple.
Yazd's biggest highlight is the ancient city in my opinion. The ancient city is a bit similar to the Kashgar in Xinjiang. The same yak building, the same maze is like winding alleys, but it has more distinctive wind towers. In my opinion, it is an ancient city with great charm and must not be missed.
tips:
The highlights of Yazd Ancient City: the alleys of the old city, old cars, Kanerjing , wind towers, ancient houses, and mosques hidden in the old city, etc.
In addition to the three check-in attractions mentioned by Xiaoma, Iran actually has many attractions worth exploring, such as the Zoroastrian temple, the Internet celebrity mosque, the Thirty-Three Hole Bridge, etc. In short, this is a city that makes you full of surprises everywhere.
