1. Clear oil accumulation
The oil barrel for welding repair can only be an empty barrel. In order to prevent the residual oil accumulation and oil vapor in the empty barrel from exploded during welding, it must be removed before welding repair. There are 3 methods:
(1) Natural evaporation. Stand up the empty bucket to be repaired in the open air, open the lid of the bucket, take out all the oil, so that the oil vapor in the bucket escapes, and the accumulated oil evaporates by itself, and then clean and remove rust. Place three special block chains with a length of 100cm (cm) and a width of 2cm in the barrel, then inject 3 kg (kg) of clean water into the barrel, push and shake the oil barrel, remove the rust on the barrel wall, and then rinse it with clean water.
(2) alkaline water wash. Fill the empty bucket to be repaired with caustic soda water, soak for 5 minutes (min) and pour out, wash the bucket with clean water, and then perform welding.
(3) Steam treatment. Open and invert the oil barrel size lid to be repaired. Use a special steam pipe port to flush the steam into the barrel and rinse out the accumulated oil. It takes about 5 minutes for gasoline and kerosene drums; it takes 10 minutes for diesel drums; it takes 15~20 minutes for lubricating oil drums such as engine oil. After cooling, weld. The three methods of
are the best and most economical.
However, corresponding steaming equipment is required.
2. Welding and repair
(1) When performing acetylene gas welding, you must first use wire brush to brush the oil stains, paint, rust and other dirt near the leakage. If the brush is not clean, you can burn the acetylene flame near the leakage to carbonize patent skin and dirt, and then use a wire brush to clean it.
(2) When repairing the edge of the welding barrel, you should pay attention to the fact that the bone glue filler inside the barrel edge will lose its sealing effect due to high temperature carbonization. Therefore, when welding the edge of the barrel, it must be welded and repaired throughout the whole cycle to avoid leakage and leakage.
(3) During welding repair, the welding repair personnel must not face the bottom or top of the barrel, in case of explosion and injury; when welding the ring, do not start from a large mouth or small mouth to prevent the unwashed oil and gas in the barrel from expanding due to heat and explosion. Never forget to open the large and small mouth covers; for safety reasons. A explosion-proof stand can be made of steel and welded in the rack.
(4) Perform leakage inspection of the iron barrel after welding; apply anti-rust paint on the welding scars.
Brothers, please be sure to pay attention to safety! !
