This part we need to pay attention to: Don’t look at this "thin and light notebook" from the perspective of a gaming notebook. Its graphics card is not born for heavy games. During testing, we adjusted the computer to "extreme speed" mode and powered on.
In addition to being a productivity tool, I also try to do some entertainment on it.
I don’t play many games personally. During the test, I chose two popular games and one that I am familiar with. I also found two games that support ray tracing and saw if the "ray tracing" mentioned by Redmi is really practical.
is the most familiar CS:GO. The image quality is set to the highest and the resolution is set to 3K of the screen, that is, 3200 * 2000. The average frame number runs around 150 frames. Reduce the resolution to 1920 * 1080, the average frame rate can be increased to about 300 frames, and the maximum can be run to 350 frames, which is quite smooth to play.
Rainbow Six · During the siege test, the image quality was set to high, with a resolution of 1920 * 1200, and the game can run to about 180 frames. The GPU occupation is almost full. Even if the image quality is reduced to medium, the GPU occupation will not change much.
Genshin Impact We started to 3K (3200 * 2000) resolution + medium image quality. At this time, the game can be stable at around 40 frames, and there are not many lags that can be perceived. If you want to further improve the gaming experience and increase the frame rate, you can reduce the resolution to 2048 * 1152, so that the game can run steadily at 60 frames.
Before testing the game, we tried to test the Port Royal for ray tracing on 3D Mark, but the software prompted us that "the hardware may be incompatible and the GPU and VRAM are insufficient", but we still tested it and scored 515 in the end, with an average frame rate of less than 3 frames. ray tracing game testing, we chose cyberpunk 2077 and Minecraft. The ray tracing of Cyberpunk 2077 is difficult to resist for 3050 graphics cards. Can the 2050 graphics card be able to withstand and play?
After our actual test: it can play, but it is not fun to play. At
K resolution, low image quality, without turning on ray tracing and dlss, the game can run to about 27 frames, the video memory occupies 99%, and the maximum 40 frames can be reached after turning on dlss. We try to consecrate +dlss at this resolution, and the video memory is probably bursting and the game crashes directly.
reduces the resolution to 1920 * 1080. If DLSS is not turned on, the game's frame rate can reach 60 fps. If DLSS is turned on, you can run to 80 frames.
But at this resolution, it is still not easy to consecrate this graphics card. It can only run in single-digit frames. Even if DLSS is turned on, it can only maintain a maximum of 25 frames.
Minecraft, we chose the RTX test map in the Bedrock Edition store. When the ray tracing is not turned on and the rendering distance is set to 16 frames, the game can run to about 80 frames. Turn on ray tracing, the rendering distance will be limited to 8 frames. If "image quality improvement" is not enabled at this time, that is, DLSS, the game can only run in single-digit frames. Even if DLSS is enabled, the frame number will be only 16-18 frames.
Look at this, the ray tracing of this graphics card has greater publicity and is not very practical in the game. The experience of playing ray tracing with a number of more than ten or twenty frames can be said to be very poor. In the game, you can only take screenshots at most. The scene can be directly stuck and can't be played by moving around a large area. You can feel the effect of ray tracing quietly.
