Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry gave the media first interview after an injury to his left foot before his matchup with the San Antonio Spurs on Monday. The two-time league MVP discussed a collision with Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart, who gave his own opinion on whether it was a dirty game that caused his injury.
"He (Marcus Smart) did not try to hurt me," Curry told the media. "He has a specific way of performing, and I don't think a lot of other people will perform like he does, but I don't think it's malicious, dirty, or trying to hurt me."
Draymond Green, Juan Tuscano Anderson and others hold the same view. Unfortunately, the injury happened and now the Warriors have lost their key player.
"Like I said, it's a tough situation, and that's how he plays," the Warriors Scorer explained. "Everyone is discussing whether he should do this, but he didn't look at me and said, I'm going to hurt that guy. It's basketball."

The team announced that Stephen Curry will be absent indefinitely and he will be re-evaluated within two weeks. That was before the playoffs. The superstar said he was optimistic and believed he would be ready by then. Now the Warriors will have to move on without him, hoping that everything is OK.
In the first game Curry missed, the Warriors lost to the Spurs 110-108. Now, the Warriors have lost back-to-back games after losing their superstar. Their next redemption will be against the Orlando Magic on Tuesday.
