During this year's Xidan Fashion Festival, starting from September 1, the Xidan Commercial Culture Museum will hold a retrospective exhibition on the development of Xidan Commercial Street in the 40 years of reform and opening up. The exhibition is divided into several major sectors such as passionate years, history intersecting here, magnificent history, and dreams that will eventually shine into reality. Whether it is the first pedestrian crossing overpass in Beijing in the 1980s was built in front of Xidan Shopping Mall, or the 1990s, the Warwick Building, Xidan Shopping Center, Xidan Book Building, Xidan Cultural Square, and Zhongyou Department Store , and then the comprehensive upgrade and renovation of Xidan Street since the new century and the establishment of the first aerial pedestrian street in the country, precious pictures show the great changes that Xidan Commercial District has taken place in the 40 years of reform and opening up. At the same time, the Xidan Commercial and Cultural Museum will also hold a special crosstalk show to reflect the achievements made by Xidan after the reform and opening up in the form of traditional folk art.
