From December 25th to 26th, the final of the 2020 Shandong Youth Vocational Skills Competition New Energy Vehicle Repair Competition was held in the school. A total of 26 representative teams participated in the competition. competition content includes three items: disassembly and assembly and repair of power motor assembly, charging pile installation and debugging, and new energy vehicle fault diagnosis and maintenance. The contestants are required to complete the disassembly and assembly of the transmission on the new energy vehicle powertrain operation platform in accordance with national standards and technical specifications of manufacturers; assemble and line connection of charging pile components, power supply environment detection, power-on testing, initialization setting, and charging verification; diagnose and eliminate common low-voltage power supply (including instruments), charging, power-on, drive and other faults in new energy vehicle.
Since receiving the competition notice, Wu Mingda, a teacher at Jinan Vocational College, and Li Yongzhen and Wang Zhao, a student of the 2019 auto repair major, have begun preparations in full swing. There are no holidays during the preparation period, and teachers and students often train until late at night. Hard work pays off. At the competition, they responded calmly and performed steadily. After two days of fierce competition, they both won the first place.
