In recent years, the municipal party committee and municipal government of our city have attached great importance to intellectual property work. The Municipal Party Committee Office and Municipal Government Office recently issued the "Implementation Opinions on Strengthening Intellectual Property Protection". Our city became the third city in Jiangsu Province to issue implementation opinions on intellectual property protection after Suzhou and Xuzhou. reporter learned from the meeting that in recent years, our city has successively become the first batch of country's strong intellectual property city to create a city and the first batch of dual demonstration cities for patent insurance and pledge financing in the country, and the results of intellectual property protection have been remarkable. As of September this year, there were more than 60,000 valid trademarks in the city, with 14,900 valid invention patents, an increase of 12% year-on-year. The number of invention patents owned by 10,000 people was 46.64, ranking fourth in the province. At the same time, our city has established a "four-in-one" diversified mediation and resolution mechanism for intellectual property disputes, and has issued the only local standard for patent infringement technology appraisal service in the country - "Patent Infringement Technology Appraisal Service Standards", to fill the domestic gap. Since the 13th Five-Year Plan, the city has handled 4,500 patent disputes and counterfeit cases, and investigated and handled 666 trademark infringement cases, effectively maintaining the market competition order.
In order to create a fair and orderly market competition environment and a first-class business environment, and to stimulate the vitality of economic and social innovation, the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government have studied and issued the "Implementation Opinions" to comprehensively coordinate and promote all work on intellectual property protection. The "Implementation Opinions" include 15 specific measures in five aspects and in terms of overall requirements, it clarifies the fundamental principles and overall goals of our city's intellectual property protection work. In terms of overall design, from the perspective of policies and regulations, improving the network, and collaborative protection, it is proposed to further improve the construction of the intellectual property protection system and system in our city. The "Implementation Opinions" also fully reflects the characteristics of Zhenjiang.
