Recently, new tricks have been seen in telecommunications fraud cases in the United States. Criminals have been constantly fabricating new reasons such as "the parties involved are suspected of fraudulent donations related to Russia-Ukrainian conflicts", "selling charter flight tickets back to China" to defraud money, and many victims have been deceived. Its payment methods have also expanded from traditional bank transfers to cryptocurrency trading, which has made it more difficult for the police to solve the case and recover the stolen money. However, from the perspective of fraudulent methods, criminals still use common tricks, mostly using technical means to simulate random calls from telephone numbers. After encountering Chinese speakers "take the bait", they pretend to be embassy and consulate, domestic public security, procuratorial and judicial services, etc., directly defraud money from the victims, or brainwash the victims, so that they can isolate themselves from the outside, create the illusion of "killing", and then cheat money from their relatives and friends.
In view of this, the Chinese Embassy in the United States once again reminds Chinese citizens in the United States: be vigilant, prevent all kinds of fraud, and do not trust remittance and transfer.
If you accidentally encounter fraud, you can refer to the following channels to report the case in time:

Alternatively, after transferring the alarm number of the local anti-fraud center through the 110 alarm phone number, provide the bank account involved.
(III) In order to evade law enforcement in mainland China, criminals often instruct victims to remit money to financial institutions in the Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions. After the victim reports the case to the US police, he can report the case to the relevant departments of the SAR government at the same time:
