I spent four days and three nights in Hualien, but I still felt that I didn’t have enough time and didn’t even go to Ziqiang Night Market. But Hualien is such a magical place. You don’t have to follow the map and step into a small shop at will, and you will have beautiful surprises.
Surprise 1 is Shugui Xiancao Shop next to the Qing Dynasty. I want red bean dumplings because of the control of red beans. Grandma said: That’s winter, I drink winter melon tea powder or fairy herbal tea in summer. I took a nutrition course at Mooc before, and the teacher strongly recommended eating according to season. I suddenly felt that grandma was so tall and immediately followed her advice. The winter melon tea is sweet and delicious, the pink is so round and fresh, and the tip of the tongue can feel the natural texture of the ingredients. Before he lost, he traveled with Tamsui in Taipei. I asked for herbal tea without sugar, and the just slight bitterness just relieved the heat from the scorching sun. After visiting the Qing Dynasty, I couldn't help but give me another copy of each. Grandma was very proud and said: It tastes good!

Celebration Monastery is a small Japanese Zen temple, small and exquisite, with many paper windmills for cooling festivals in the yard. I like this religion or folk tradition. Sometimes it is not really required, and the ritual itself can help us calm down from the chaotic rhythm of our daily life.

Surprise 2 is the private restaurant called "Muming" in Qixingtan. In the indigenous language, "Ayang" is a chicken, and "Fu Ding" is a fish. I ordered salt-grilled mackerel, which is salt-grilled mackerel. I didn’t have much expectations. What I ate at the Japanese restaurant in Beijing before was dry and firewood. How unusual can the ones here be? When I saw the fish brought up, I felt different. When I opened the fish skin and picked up a piece of fish meat and put it into my mouth, my tongue was moved: mackerel can be so fat, tender and juicy, and the salt roasted without other seasonings just showed the fresh sweetness of the fish meat itself. What exactly are those in Beijing! ? On the day I left, I talked to my taxi sister, and she said that the fresh mackerel was like this. I, who was full of empirical spirit, returned to Taipei and ate it again. It was better than Beijing, but lacked the natural sweetness. Those who guard the Qixingtan should use the freshest ingredients that are salvaged every day.
The wild vegetable soup that comes with the meal is mellow but not greasy, and the salad is also refreshing and delicious. The boss and chef in the kitchen have been humming ethnic tunes happily. Only in a good mood can he make a good taste. It is indeed an irrefutable truth.

Surprise 3 originated from the little turtle fishing in the "Muming" store. lg said that this is the life he wanted. I asked where I bought it, and the owner's sister said that next to the curry in Meilun District, there is a jewelry store covered with many green plants. When I came back from Taroko the next day, I asked the driver, Brother Lin, to send us directly to the curry house. A few steps forward, I saw this small house with a very literary atmosphere. The lighting is warm, and the owner and his wife are very kind-hearted. I introduced us to cute little knicknames and exquisite trinkets like friends. If it weren't for the box's capacity issue, I really wanted everything. Finally, I included a pair of turtle + crab door god, a string of butterfly necklaces that reminded me of Pan's maze, and a small pottery house from Lithuania. When I was renovating, I visited so many decoration stores but I didn’t have such a strong desire to shop. Hualien's tuning is more suitable for me.
