The protagonist Guido is an optimistic and optimistic poor man who loves life. Chris is a scanner salesman. Due to the economic downturn and the expensive scanners, Chris' life is in embarrassment.
His wife left due to long-term difficulties in life. Chris was penniless and was evicted by his landlord. All this made him feel desperate. He had nowhere to go. He could only take his son Christopher and sit on the subway. He saw his son's innocent appearance and didn't want him to be disappointed with reality. He lied to him that the scanner was a time machine and could take him anywhere. Chris vividly lied to his son that he had traveled to ancient times and hid in a cave. In fact, It's a subway bathroom.
This section is the most touching. At dawn, someone knocked on the bathroom door.
