Huang Yongsheng, formerly known as Huang Xuqian, was born in 1910 in a poor peasant family in Xianning, Hubei. Due to family poverty, Huang Yongsheng went to a coal mine near his hometown as a coolie very early. Long-term heavy physical labor has gradually made Huang Yongsheng possess revolutionary ideas. In August 1927, Huang Yongsheng participated in the Tongcheng Uprising led by Luo Ronghuan. Later, Huang Yongsheng joined the Tongcheng Uprising Forces to participate in the Autumn Harvest Uprising led by Chairman Mao, and followed the Autumn Harvest Uprising Forces to the Jinggang Mountain.
At that time, there were more than 1,000 workers and peasants in the Red Army who followed Chairman Mao to the Jinggangshan Mountain. Huang Yongsheng was one of them. Therefore, Huang Yong wins the more senior Red Army during the Agrarian Revolution. Because of this relationship, Huang Yongsheng was quickly promoted to a cadre after the expansion of the Red Army. He successively served as the commander of the Red 31st Division and the 36th Division. Of course, Huang Yongsheng's rapid promotion is inseparable from his good at fighting. In 1929, Huang Yongsheng was praised by Chairman Mao for being able to fight a bad battle. From this time on, Huang Xuqian's name was changed to Huang Yongsheng.
In 1934, the Red Army lost in the Fifth Anti-Encirclement War and was forced to start the Long March. Due to the special circumstances, the Central Red Army stipulated that Red Army cadres and soldiers were not allowed to bring their family members with the troops on the Long March, and Huang Yongsheng also started the Long March with the Red Army's large troops. After a year of hard struggle, the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army finally arrived in northern Shaanxi smoothly, and Huang Yongsheng was also appointed as the commander of the Second Red Division.
At this time, Huang Yongsheng is also in his twenties, and he is getting married. Soon after, Huang Yongsheng married Xiang Huifang, a female student from the city. After getting married, Huang Yongsheng was appointed as the commander of the 685 regiment of the 343 brigade of the 115th Division of the Eighth Route Army and went to the Jinchaji Anti-Japanese Front Line. After arriving on the front line, Huang Yongsheng not only fought to the death with the Japanese army, but also gave birth to flowers in his love life. At that time, during the period of cooperation between the KMT and the Communist Party, in order to expand the united front, the base area chose the policy of "landlords reduce rent and interest, and farmers pay rent and pay interest." In this way, Huang Yongsheng has an opportunity to take advantage of. He used his power to coerce and lure the daughters of some landlords. In the end, Huang Yongsheng also had some romantic affairs with the daughter of a landlord, which made the base area known to everyone. After the superiors learned of this, they severely criticized Huang Yongsheng. Huang Yongsheng couldn't wait any longer, so he went to the northeast and went to his old superior. It can be said that Huang Yongsheng was planted on the landlord's daughter.
After Huang Yongsheng arrived in the Northeast, he was immediately reused by an important person. Under the leadership of that man, Huang Yongsheng fought many victories in the War of Liberation and received the rank of general in 1955. But later, that important person ran away and died in a foreign land. Huang Yongsheng was also detained for review because of his participation in many of his activities. After the Cultural Revolution ended, Huang Yongsheng was sentenced to 18 years in prison and then sent to Qingdao for resettlement. Huang Yongsheng at this time had lost everything and became a complete lonely family. In 1983, Huang Yongsheng became seriously ill and was admitted to a hospital in Qingdao. Thinking that he was going to die with shame, Huang Yongsheng behaved crazy. However, to no avail at this time, Huang Yongsheng still died on April 26, 1983.
