Shandong is a famous old revolutionary base, but due to geographical reasons, very few participated in the Red Army , which resulted in the fact that when the title was awarded in 1955, there were not many generals in Shandong. How many
are there? There was no marshal, no general, and even no general. It was not until the lieutenant general that there were three, namely Kong Qingde, Sun Jixian, Liu Xingyuan .
Let me introduce what positions these three founding lieutenant generals from Shandong held after the founding of the People's Republic of China? What achievements have you achieved? Who has achieved greater success?
First of all, General Kong Qingde.
Kong Qingde is a 73rd generation descendant of Confucius . At the age of 15, he joined the Kuomintang army Chen Tiaoyuan . He participated in the uprising in 1931 and became a Red Army soldier.
During the War of Resistance Against Japan, Kong Qingde participated in the overnight attack on Yangmingbao, the battle of Shentouling, Hundred Regiments, and so on. During the War of Liberation, he served as deputy commander of the 10th Column of the Shanxi-Hebei-Shandong-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-Hebei-He
After the founding of New China, Kong Qingde entered Nanjing Military Academy to study, and after graduation, he served as the acting commander of the artillery of the Central and South Military Region.
1955, after the establishment of Wuhan Military Region , the commander was Chen Zaidao, Kong Qingde was appointed as deputy commander, and in the same year he was awarded the founding lieutenant general.
During his tenure as deputy commander of the Wuhan Military Region, Kong Qingde also served as secretary of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee and commander-in-chief of the construction of the third line of Hubei and Henan provinces, and presided over the construction of national key projects such as Jiaozhi Railway, Second Automobile Manufacturing Plant and other national key projects.
When building the Yellow River Bridge in Luoyang, Henan, because people at that time were "making a revolution", the staff were seriously insufficient to build the bridge. The person in charge of the bridge said that just a bridge pier would have to be built for 5 months.
After Kong Qingde learned about it, he said to the person in charge of the bridge, "I will give you the power now, and mobilize everyone immediately. It is necessary to complete it all in 10 months. If you fail, you will be punished!
According to the person in charge, it takes 5 months for one bridge pier alone. How can it be possible to build all Yellow River Bridge in 10 months? However, under Kong Qingde's strict supervision, everyone showed their enthusiasm and completed the construction of the Yellow River Bridge in 8 months!
This is General Kong Qingde's courage, reflecting the fearless spirit of a founding general who is indomitable and dares to challenge any difficulties!
In 1983, General Kong Qingde retired and enjoyed the full treatment of military region .
On September 29, 2010, Kong Qingde passed away in Wuhan at the age of 100.
The second place is General Sun Jixian.
Sun Jixian was from Cao County, Shandong Province and was the same age as Kong Qingde. He was originally a soldier in the army of Feng Yuxiang, but later participated in the uprising in 1931 and became a soldier in the Red Army.
Sun Jixian has been practicing hard skills since he was a child. After joining the Red Army, he also specialized in tough battles. For example, when breaking through the Xiangjiang River, Sun Jixian rushed into the enemy formation with a big knife, slashed left and right, and was invincible. Finally, he cut off several big swords. He took off his clothes and twisted them, and was full of blood, but no drop of blood was his own!
The famous crosses the Dadu River , which is also Sun Jixian's masterpiece. He personally led 17 warriors to break through the enemy's defense line and open a passage for the Red Army.
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Sun Jixian served as Chief of Staff of the 7th Corps and Deputy Commander of the 20th Corps of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army.
After returning from North Korea, Sun Jixian was appointed as the commander of the 20th training base and led his troops to the northwest to provide logistical support for the "two bombs and one satellite" project. He worked for several years.
Therefore, when we cheer for the heroes of " two bombs and one satellite ", don't forget those engineering soldiers who are fighting in the Northwest.
In 1970, Sun Jixian was transferred to the position of deputy commander of Jinan Military Region. He retired in 1982 and enjoyed the treatment of a full-time military region.
In April 1990, General Sun Jixian passed away at the age of 80.
The third place is General Liu Xingyuan.
Liu Xingyuan is from Junan, Shandong. He initially served in Feng Yuxiang's troops. In 1931, he joined the Red Army while fighting against the Red Army.
Unlike the two generals above, Liu Xingyuan has a rich resume in the army. Because he is educated, he was a clerk at first, and later he served as secretary, chief of the Organization Section, and director of the General Affairs Office. It was not until the War of Resistance Against Japan that he was transferred to the front line of the army and served as the political commissar of the army and the director of the political department.
After the founding of New China, Liu Xingyuan also had a rich resume. He initially served as Secretary-General and Minister of the Cadre Department of the Central South Military Region. After the founding of , Guangzhou Military Region , he became the deputy political commissar of the military region and was awarded the founding lieutenant general in the same year.
After entering the 1970s, Liu Xingyuan also reached the peak of his career. He served as the first secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, the first political commissar of the Chengdu Military Region, the commander of the Chengdu Military Region, and the first secretary of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee. He also served as the political commissar of the People's Liberation Army Military and Political University and the political commissar of the Military Academy.
On August 14, 1990, General Liu Xingyuan passed away at the age of 82.
Summary: After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Kong Qingde served as deputy commander of the Wuhan Military Region, secretary of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee, and commander-in-chief of the construction of the third line of Hubei and Henan Province; Sun Jixian served as deputy commander of the Jinan Military Region and commander of the 20th Training Base; Liu Xingyuan served as commander of the Chengdu Military Region, political commissar, political commissar of the People's Liberation Army Military and Political University, political commissar of the Military Academy, first secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, and first secretary of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee.
It can be seen that General Liu Xingyuan had the highest status after the founding of the People's Republic of China. However, Kong Qingde and Sun Jixian had great achievements. One commanded the construction of the third line in Hubei and Henan provinces, and the other also made great contributions to the "Two Bombs and One Satellite" project. They were both outstanding meritorious officials of our military.
In addition, these three generals have a lot in common, they all joined the warlord troops first, and later joined the Red Army in 1931. Moreover, Sun Jixian and Kong Qingde were born in the same year (1911) and died in the same year (1990) as Liu Xingyuan. It was such a coincidence!
