Today is the anniversary of the death of Li Yunchang, a leader of the anti-Japanese war in eastern Hebei and an old revolutionary predecessor.
In the early 1970s, when I was five or six years old, I often played with my nephew Li in his house. At that time, he was persecuted by Lin Biao and the Gang of Four and was detained in Qincheng Prison. His heroic deeds are not allowed to be passed on, and they are slandered and slandered.
Our elders silently tell the children the revolutionary story and outstanding contributions, making us impressed with the revolutionary spirit of our elders who are dedicated to serving the people.
Most of the early revolutionary young people had a wealthy family. According to the social conditions and customs of 100 years ago, most young people would choose to do business and make money, or go to the government office to work as an official to make a living.
Li Yunchang, who has excellent character and academic performance, established a social ideal of worrying about the country and the people through learning, and embarked on the revolutionary path at the age of fifteen or sixteen.
In the 1930s, Li Yunchang led the activities of the Hebei Party Organization. When he encountered a shortage of funds, he repeatedly escaped the arrest of the reactionaries and went home to withdraw money as funds for the revolutionary activities. His mother and wife, who were deeply aware of righteousness, fully supported him in the revolutionary cause.
