It is evergreen all year round, and the monument pavilion is solemn and solemn. In October 1996, it was announced as a county-level cultural relics protection unit by the Lingqiu County Government. In the same year, it was listed as a protection unit for revolutionary sites and revolutionary memorial buildings in the county by the Lingqiu County Committee of the Communist Party of China.

On May 30, 1941, people from all walks of life erected a monument to commemorate the martyrs who died in the 64 years of the Anti-Japanese War. The inscription is written by Mu Yue, secretary of the Hunyuan County Party Committee, and the eight characters "Kill the body and make the benevolence and sacrifice the life for righteousness" are engraved in the regular script on the stele. The reason, date and erecting of the stele are engraved in the stele, totaling 16 lines, each line is about 47 characters. Under the monument is a hexagonal base with a side length of 2.65 meters. The name, hometown, time of sacrifice and place of the martyrs are engraved on each side of the pedestal, and a total of 105 martyrs are recorded. In June 1945, Baicaowan was re-assigned to Lingqiu with Wang Chengzhuang and Zhao Bei. In 1960, the Lingqiu County People's Committee instructed the County Civil Affairs Bureau to establish a stele pavilion here in order to commemorate the martyrs who died. A wall is built around the stele pavilion, with a door opening in the west of the north wall and the middle of the east wall, and greening is carried out around the stele pavilion. It covers an area of ​​about 454 square meters. After decades of erosion of wind and rain, the pavilion is about to collapse. In 2008 and 2009, the Lingqiu County Government invested in two repairs. The pavilion is now intact and has become one of the bases for revolutionary traditional education and patriotic education.
