Zuo Quan: The national conditions of the country
General Zuo Quan is the highest-level general who died in the battlefield of the Anti-Japanese War. During the war years, he traveled to the battlefield and wrote simple and affectionate letters to his mother and wife, recording a son, husband and father's attachment to the family, his longing for the future, and his determination to rush to the national crisis to the death.
On May 25, 1942, he was hit by shrapnel and died heroically at the age of 37. That year, his daughter was only two years old.

Zuoquan wrote in his family letter to his wife:
"I always think that if you and Taibei were with me, I could hear Taibei calling her parents and mom, and be able to walk around, hold her and play, laugh and cry while she was making fun of her. It was so happy.But my dearest person is just thousands of miles away. After a while, he had to put out the photos and look at them one by one. "
Zhao Yiman: Iron bones are also tender
At the last moment of her life, she asked the enemy for paper and pen and wrote a suicide note for her son. After writing the first letter, Zhao Yiman wrote another suicide note, supplementing the rest of his words to the child. Later, she was executed with a stern apology at the age of 31.

"Mother is really a pity for you to not fulfill your education responsibilities. Because my mother resolutely fought against Manchu and anti-Japanese, it was already the eve of her sacrifice today. Mother and you will never have a chance to see each other again before your death. I hope you, Ninger ! Hurry up and come and comfort your mother underground! My dearest child! Mother does not need thousands of words to educate you, but practices to educate you. When you grow up, I hope you don’t forget that your mother sacrificed for the country! ”
Wang Ruofei: Everything is planned for the people
In 1931, Wang Ruofei, a communist soldier from Guizhou, led the work of opening up a rural revolutionary base in Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Sui. Due to the betrayal of the traitor, he was unfortunately arrested by the Kuomintang authorities in Baotou . In prison, Wang Ruofei always strictly guarded the party's secrets and continued to carry out revolutionary work. In order to encourage comrades in prison, he wrote a short essay "Living in Smile", writing: "Escape from death is only struggle, and iron windows are hard to lock the iron heart.

On April 8 of the same year, Wang Ruofei and the Communist Party of China took the final plan to negotiate with the Kuomintang on issues such as the Constitution, the composition of the National Government, and other 13 people. They flew back to Yan'an with Qin Bangxian, Ye Ting and others, and were preparing to report to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. Before returning to Yan'an, he said goodbye to Comrade Zhou Enlai, "All plans for the people."
Due to the harsh climate, the plane crashed in Heichashan in the southeast of Xing County, Shanxi Province. All 13 people on the same plane were killed. Wang Ruofei was 50 years old.
Deng Enming: I will die first
On January 19, 1929, due to a traitor's informant, Deng Enming, a communist fighter from Guizhou, was arrested in Jinan. This was his third time being arrested and imprisoned. In prison, facing the torture of torture, Deng Enming was righteous and unyielding.
His chronic disease also relapsed at this time, but he gritted his teeth and established a prison party branch, led two hunger strikes, and fought resolutely against the enemy. He also organized two prison escapes, and several comrades successfully escaped.

On April 5, 1931,Deng Enming and 21 other martyrs were killed in Jinan. When the enemy's cold bullets penetrated his strong chest, he issued his final cry: "Long live the Communist Party of China... In the 30th year of prosperity, the ambitions were not fulfilled, and I could do whatever I could. I would die first, and I would comfort myself frequently."
Deng Enming's life was frozen at the age of 30. This young man from Guizhou shed his last drop of blood for the great cause of communism.
Cai Bingyan: How can the country save his family if he doesn't protect his family?
Before the Battle of Shanghai in 1937, from late night on August 21 to early morning on the 22nd, Cai Bingyan wrote four letters in a row, and arranged his funeral in detail. Five days later, he was shot several times in the fierce battle and died heroically. He was 35 years old at the time.

"Little did he know that the difficulties have come to this point, and the country will not be protected, so how can the family exist?"
The second day of the Martyrs' Day is National Day. It is the sacrifice and dedication of countless heroes, which has brought about the infinite magnificence of the mountains and rivers of the motherland today.
