In the sixth year of Xianfeng, the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom's military reached a new peak. Before that, Yang Xiuqing used various means to put his status above other kings. Therefore, from Yang Xiuqing's perspective: Wei Changhui and others are not his opponents, Hong Xiuquan is a loser, and he is the boss of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom.

Yang Xiuqing didn't know that he was inviting death to himself.

3, Hong Xiuquan’s counterattack

In fact, Yang Xiuqing suffered from not studying enough.

From an architectural perspective, although Yang Xiuqing has great power and real power. But it belongs to the tyrant after all. In China's ancient political ecology, there were only two ways for a tyrant: one was to replace him and become a true monarch. Yang Xiuqing offended many people: including Wei Changhui and Qin Rigang. These are all high-level figures in the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. And Hong Xiuquan also knew that Yang Xiuqing had made too many enemies.

So Hong Xiuquan initially arranged internal agents around Yang Xiuqing. Then he sent his cronies, with the help of internal agents around Yang Xiuqing, to secretly notify Wei Changhui, Qin Rigang and others who were leading troops outside to return to Tianjing to eradicate Yang Xiuqing.
