Qian Zhuangfei was born in Huzhou, Zhejiang in 1895 to a wealthy businessman family. He received a good education since childhood and was talented. In 1915, he was admitted to the National Beijing Medical College (now Peking University School of Medicine). When he was studying, it was the climax of the May Fourth New Culture Movement. Qian Zhuangfei, like countless passionate peers, devoted himself passionately. He went to the patriotic movement and received the baptism of revolutionary ideas.
After graduation, Qian Zhuangfei could have practiced medicine and had a promising future. However, he was already committed to revolution. Like Lu Xun, he believed that practicing medicine could not save China. He wanted to find a more effective revolutionary method.
In his youth, Qian Zhuangfei was handsome and versatile. At that time, film art had just been introduced into China and became the most popular thing for the Chinese people. From the perspective of a revolutionary, Qian Zhuangfei discovered that movies could also be used as a mass propaganda tool to reach the public. He advocated progressive ideas, so Qian Zhuangfei and like-minded Hu Di (later also became one of the Three Great Masters of Longtan) founded a film company, and in 1924 they filmed China's first black and white martial arts film "The Hidden Hero of Yanshan" .
The party organization in Peking was destroyed by the warlord Zhang Zuolin. Unfortunately, Li Dazhao and others died. Qian Zhuangfei was also forced to leave Peiping and moved to Shanghai. At this time, Chiang Kai-shek also showed a counter-revolutionary face. The reactionary April 12 counter-revolutionary coup, the revolution is at a low ebb, and many people in the revolutionary ranks who are not determined will choose to quit.
But Qian Zhuangfei was still looking for a new way to fight. At this time, he accidentally saw an enrollment advertisement. It turned out to be a "radio training class" recruiting students. In China in the 1920s, most people didn't even know what "radio" was, but Qian Zhuangfei, who had received a new modern education, knew that this was a very magical means of technological communication that could make people satisfied. Once you leave home, you can spread secrets thousands of miles away. At the same time, you can sit quietly in a dark room and obtain the enemy's highly secret information "out of thin air."
Qian Zhuangfei immediately signed up to participate and was successfully admitted. As a result, upon entering, it turns out that this training class is actually a training institution for the Kuomintang reactionaries. They also lack such talents and have to recruit students from the society.
Qian Zhuangfei reported this information to the Shanghai Party Organization through his comrade Li Kenong. When Zhou Enlai heard this, he not only agreed with Qian Zhuangfei's entry, but even asked Li Kenong to sign up for the training class. In this way, two agents of our party successfully entered the radio training class sponsored by Chen Lifu, head of the Central Organization Department of the Kuomintang and Xu Enzeng, director of the Radio Management Division of the Construction Committee, and then entered the Kuomintang secret service The core of CBS .

Qian Zhuangfei saw that Gu Shunzhang had surrendered to the enemy and knew that this was a huge crisis, so he tried to convey the information to Zhou Enlai as quickly as possible regardless of the risk of personal exposure.
