As of now, the battery research of the Berlin Super Battery Factory only covers electrodes, and all equipment used for other production steps such as battery wrapping, assembly and formatting have been moved back to Tesla's Texas headquarters.
In fact, Wang Ye said that finance noticed that the German super battery factory is still in the growth stage, and with full production capacity, it can produce 500,000 electric vehicles every year, surpassing the German rival - Volkswagen Group (Volkswagen) has a global electric vehicle sales of 450,000 in 2021.
