On the afternoon of October 26, the 2022 Huangpu District Foreign Investment Promotion Conference and the Huangpu District Foreign Investment Environment White Paper Press Conference were held. Huangpu District Party Secretary Gao Yun, District Party Secretary Shen Shanzhou, District Mayor, District People's Congress Standing Committee Chairman Han Shunfang, District CPPCC Chairman Chen Zhiqi, Municipal Commerce Committee Deputy Director Zhu Yi , Deputy District Mayor Wang Nai, and Municipal Foreign Investment Association President Huang Feng attended the meeting to discuss cooperation, seek development, and talk about the future with all entrepreneurs and friends. Gaoyun awarded the "2022 Huangpu District Excellence Development Award" to 9 foreign-funded enterprises including Sumitomo Pharmaceuticals, Lingcheng (Shanghai), Aomei China, Duravit , Kashijia Coffee, Siqiman, Toyota Sangong New Energy Technology, Jingtemeng, Duoxijiabanna, etc.
Shenshanzhou awarded the "2022 Huangpu District Excellence Innovation Award" to six foreign-funded enterprises including Hyundai Automobile R&D Center, Vibponer, Air Cloud Hui, Nippon Railway Software, Enfu Software, and Gangkuan Technology.
Han Shunfang, Chen Zhiqi, relevant leaders of the Municipal Foreign Investment Promotion Center, Municipal Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and representatives of foreign-invested enterprises jointly launched the "Fifth Import Expo Huangpu Enterprise Cloud Exhibition". Relying on the commercial cloud service platform, Cloud Exhibition strives to create a Huangpu square array with synchronous display and interaction on the innovation and expansion of the spillover effect of CIIE as a starting point.
Ms. Lu Ying, managing partner of Deloitte China East China Region, released the "2022 Huangpu District Foreign Investment Environment White Paper". The white paper has made a deeper exploration of Huangpu's characteristics from five major dimensions, including Huangpu's district situation, industrial overview, investment area, business environment, and life support. The white paper points out that Huangpu is constantly optimizing the international business environment, creating "new scenarios", cultivating "new advantages", and vividly showing the world the sustainable vitality and majestic atmosphere of Shanghai's core leading area. At the meeting, Huangpu District issued the "Implementation Opinions on Encouraging the Development of Trade-oriented Headquarters in Huangpu District" and launched the recruitment plan for strategic partners for the cornerstone of foreign investment development. The "Implementation Opinions" optimized the scope of support for the development of trade-oriented headquarters, strengthened reward support, and improved supporting services. The recruitment plan sincerely invites partners to rely on their own and related parties' global resource advantages to jointly draw a blueprint for the high-quality development of Huangpu's foreign investment , jointly promote the implementation of key foreign investment projects in Shanghai and Huangpu, and jointly build a Huangpu foreign investment innovative development ecosystem.
Gao Yun recommended Huangpu from four aspects in his speech. First, Huangpu has outstanding comprehensive strength and higher development level. Fourth, Huangpu urban area has complete functions and better support carrier.
