The meeting adopted a combination of online and offline methods to re-deploy and re-promote the dry coke quenching transformation and waste heat power generation in the coking industry.
Coking quenching is an important part of the coking industry. Compared with wet coke quenching, the use of dry coke quenching is conducive to reducing the total energy consumption of the coking industry, saving resources, and reducing environmental pollution. It is of great significance to improving air quality in the province and enhancing the people's sense of gain and happiness. Our province attaches great importance to the transformation of coking dry quenching and the grid connection of waste heat power generation in the coking industry, and clearly puts forward the goal of "before the end of 2023, coking enterprises across the province will fully realize the dry quenching method." At present, the 68.936 million tons of large-capacity coke project of 35 enterprises in the province has equipped with coke quenching devices, and another 11 enterprises have been under construction for 14.45 million tons of large-capacity coke project of quenching a large-capacity coke.
At the meeting, Shanxi Yaxin Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Shanxi Gengyang New Energy Co., Ltd. introduced the experience of grid connection of dry quenching waste heat power generation projects. The relevant person in charge of the Provincial Energy Bureau, Shanxi Energy Supervision Office, and State Grid Shanxi Power Company explained and answered the policies for the approval, acceptance and grid connection approval of dry quenching waste heat power generation projects.
The Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology will introduce specific policies and measures to support the coking industry to improve its green development level, continue to carry out enterprise access services, and help enterprises coordinate and solve the difficulties and problems in the construction of the dry-extinguishing project and waste heat power generation grid connection. The Provincial Energy Bureau, Shanxi Energy Supervision Office, and State Grid Shanxi Power Company will open a green channel to speed up procedures and promote enterprises that have been built to quench the dry coke but have not yet connected to the grid, as soon as possible.
