In August, the city's automobile manufacturing, computer communications and other electronic equipment manufacturing industries grew rapidly, with growth of 39.4%, 48.3% and 24.9%, respectively, accelerating by 5, 35.5 and 8 percentage points respectively over the previous month, driving the city's large-scale industrial growth by 3 percentage points in total. Second, the electricity, heat production and supply industries have turned from negative to positive. Affected by the continuous high temperature, the city's electricity demand has increased significantly. In August, the added value of the city's electricity, heat production and supply industry increased by 3%, accelerating by 16 percentage points from the previous month. Third, the "Material Valley" is strongly driven. Since the beginning of this year, the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government will build "Material Valley" in the central region of as a concrete action for Loudi to implement the "three highs and four new" strategy, and strive to build a famous city in the intelligent manufacturing industry, with the scale effect of the industrial chain highlighting. From January to August, the added value of 10 emerging advantageous industrial chains in the city increased by 7.3%, 1.8 percentage points higher than the growth rate of large-scale industries. Among them, the added value of the two major industries of steel new materials and construction machinery increased by 11.8%, far higher than the growth rate of large-scale industries in the city.
