Chengde Jianlong Special Steel Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Chengde Jianlong") In March 2022, it signed a full-line process design and core equipment supply contract for special steel medium rods with Danieli China.
The project’s full-line process design and core equipment are designed and manufactured by Danieli Metallurgical Equipment (China) Co., Ltd. and Danieli High-Tech (Changshu) Co., Ltd., with a designed production capacity of 1 million tons/year of special steel bars. The products The specifications cover Ø60mm – Ø180mm high-quality special steel bars, and the production capacity of square steel is reserved. The main equipment includes 16 GCC vertical short-stress mill rolling mill , and Danieli's GCC9575 model is used for the first time in China for medium rods. This model has a large opening and strong rolling force. The blank bite and low-temperature open rolling provide prerequisites. Thanks to Danieli's long-term production experience in the field of special steel and rich project experience around the world, the technology of this production line and the design of the water-cooling line provide a strong guarantee for future production. The production line also uses the latest generation of 1,300-ton cold shear equipment, equipped with imported hydraulic clutch and brake system, which reduces maintenance times and costs while maintaining stable operation. This cold shear equipment has been used in many domestic projects.
After the project is completed, this production line will become the special steel medium rod line with the highest production capacity, the largest blank, and the widest product specifications in China, helping Chengde Jianlong to further optimize its product structure and expand its product range. This project also further expands and consolidates Danieli's leading position in the design and supply of special steel bar lines in the world.
Chengde Jianlong, as a subsidiary of Beijing Jianlong Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd., focuses on special steel products. It has cooperated with Danieli many times in recent years. After inheriting the Dejianlong 2# continuous caster, 3# continuous caster, and 4# super large round billet continuous caster projects, this time it will continue to cooperate with Danieli on the medium rod line. The blanks for this medium bar line will come from the previously ordered continuous caster.
