China's first megawatt-level hydrogen energy comprehensive utilization demonstration station is located in Lu'an Jin'an Economic Development Zone, covering an area of more than 7,000 square meters, with a rated installed capacity of 1 megawatt. It is mainly equipped with a megawatt-level proton exchange membrane hydrogen production system and fuel Battery power generation system and combined heat and power system, wind and solar renewable energy power generation system, power distribution complex, etc. Relying on this demonstration station, it has applied for 21 invention patents and 6 utility model patents, participated in the preparation of 1 national standard, and published 18 core journal papers. It has comprehensively cultivated a hydrogen energy innovation research team and systematically mastered basic research and development, Key technologies in the entire chain of equipment manufacturing and engineering construction have led the country in the field of hydrogen energy, and relevant technical indicators have reached internationally advanced levels.
"Using the most advanced proton exchange membrane water electrolysis hydrogen production technology, it is clean and zero-carbon, with an annual production of more than 700,000 standard cubic meters of hydrogen and 730,000 kilowatt hours of hydrogen power generation." Xia Peng, the person in charge of the construction of the demonstration station, said that the hydrogen energy produced can Widely used in fuel cells, electric vehicles, hydrogen steelmaking, green hydrogen chemical industry and other fields, hydrogen power generation can be used for peak shaving needs of regional power grids, converting "trough" power at night into hydrogen energy and storing it to replace thermal power during peak power consumption.
