Time, knowledge, growth, friendship are the keywords that best represent me in the past year.
In a year of uncertainty, I witnessed my growth, broadened my horizons and enhanced my knowledge, reserved financial professional knowledge, and promoted each other among my classmates. These have all helped me integrate into the domestic employment environment.
Before coming to Renmin University’s Queen’s Master of Finance program, I lived in Canada for 11 years. After graduating from undergraduate accounting, I have been working and living in Toronto . During this period, he worked in finance in a fund company and served as an auditor in accounting firm . After obtaining the Canadian Certified Accountant Certificate, he went to the Montreal Bank Headquarters to prepare and regulate the company's financial report.
China's development in recent decades can be said to be very fast. If it were in other countries, there might not be much change in just two years. But if you are in China, you may get lost in a place you came two years ago. It is not just infrastructure, but China is also developing rapidly in economic and other aspects, which is also the reason why I decided to return to China. I just returned to China, and it can be said that I know nothing about China. It was the Queen of Finance Master Program of Renmin University that allowed me to understand China more today and made me meet a group of like-minded classmates.
actually returns to campus life, and I am both happy and nervous. Because I was relatively older in the international class, I naturally took on the class committee. As a class committee member, I often organize offline gatherings for classmates to exchange learning experiences and experiences. Of course, due to the impact of the epidemic, we have fewer and fewer opportunities to get together. We have also gone from offline to online, and the enthusiasm for communication remains unabated.
This year's learning pace is very compact and the content is very rich and fulfilling. For me, who has been away from campus for a long time, I was still a little stressed at the beginning and needed to review a lot of basic knowledge. The classmates and teaching assistants in the class also gave me a lot of help and answered my questions without getting tired of answering them. Most students work or intern during the day. When we discuss homework and practical case analysis, we often arrange it in the evening. After discussing the discussion, it is midnight. In order for the group to achieve good results, we put forward suggestions for revisions to each other. This feeling is a rare pure and warmth after work. At the same time, the students in the executive class will often provide us with opportunities for work and internships. This atmosphere of mutual help is particularly touching.
In terms of learning, this year, there are both academic professors' theories of diligence and analysis of the current situation of the industry by the front-line predecessors in the market. It can be said that it is a perfect combination of financial theory knowledge and practical analysis. Through a year of study, I not only broadened my understanding of various fields in the industry, but also gave me the opportunity to learn from my alumni and seniors. This is a precious experience that honed my abilities and shaped my character. Although the year of study has ended, our growth has just begun. Many students in international classes have gradually entered their satisfactory jobs. I believe that with the continuous efforts of our classmates, we will achieve something.
