Remember the basic knowledge firmly and you will have no worries when you pass the exam. Below I have compiled a few typical examples from typical sentences, let’s see if you can do all of them right!
The so-called wrong sentences refer to sentences with faulty language expression, that is, sentences that do not conform to the expression rules of modern Chinese , or violate objective facts. The former is in terms of grammar, and the latter is in terms of logic.
There are six common types of sentences that middle school students need to master, namely improper word order, improper coordination, incomplete or redundant components, confusing structure, unclear expression and illogical.
Although these six types of wrong sentences are all tested, in actual exams, there are several common wrong sentences that appear very frequently, so it is worthy of special attention. And we can identify these errors by looking for identification.

1. Discover the sentence at the beginning of the introductory phrase to see if the subject is missing.
Preposition structure can easily lead to a sentence without subject at the beginning. For example:
Example 1: By reading Xu Chi's " Huangshan Ji ", I received a profound aesthetic education.
Example 2: During the Southern and Northern Dynasties, due to the great integration of the northern ethnic groups, the development of industrial and commercial economy created conditions for the Sui Dynasty to unify the country.
Analysis: In a sentence, when the preposition or preposition structure is at the beginning of the sentence, we should carefully analyze the subject, predicate and other components of the sentence. If there is no subject, it belongs to the wrong type of preposition structure that causes no subject at the beginning of the sentence.
This type of wrong sentences often achieve the purpose of correction by removing the preposition at the beginning of the sentence. As in Example 1, “pass” is removed, and Example 2 is removed.
2. I found that there is a parallel structure in the sentence to see if it is logical, whether the word order is misaligned, and whether it is properly matched.
The parallel structure mentioned here mainly refers to the verb parallel, noun parallel, and adjective parallel, etc. A parallel structure has appeared, and we can consider it from three aspects: whether it is logical, whether the word order is misaligned, and whether it is properly matched.
Example 3: Our newspapers, magazines, television and all publications have the responsibility to set an example.
Example 4: We must discuss it carefully and listen to Principal Wang’s speech.
Example 5: To run a business well, you still need to give full play to your personal talents, collective strength and brainstorming effects.
Example 6: This high-energy mechanical engineer's outstanding work and unique design have been adopted by relevant domestic units and have been praised by foreign experts.
parsing: In a sentence, words containing the relationship with the included cannot be put together side by side.
3 cases, newspapers and magazines are publications, so they are not easy to put together. The parallel phrase "discuss" and "listen" in the parallel phrase "discuss and listens" in 44, and should be listened first and then discussed. In
Example 5, the predicate "play" and the object "branching effect" cannot be matched.
In Example 6, the subject part is a parallel structure, and the predicate part is also a parallel structure. Through analysis, we found that the "excellent work" in the sentence cannot be matched with the predicate "being adopted".
3. III. Discover words with two meanings, such as "whether", "can", "good or bad", "success or failure", etc., and see if the previous and next correspond.
Example 7: A practical problem related to whether you can choose a career smoothly is placed in front of them: you must know how to use a computer, you must know how to drive, and a foreign language must reach level 4 or above.
Example 8: Whether our city can seize the opportunity and develop rapidly in the strategic plan of Western Development is to accelerate the cultivation of a group of talents from all walks of life.
Analysis: In these two examples, the first half of the sentence mentions two aspects. In Example 7, the first half of the sentence contains two aspects: being able to graduate smoothly and not being able to graduate smoothly. In Example 8, the first half of the sentence contains two aspects: being able to seize opportunities and not being able to seize opportunities, but the second half of these two sentences only talks about the affirmative aspects.
There are two ways to modify this type of wrong sentence: either remove the words "can it" and "do" in the sentence, or add words such as "can it" or "do" to another part of the sentence.
4. I found that there are negative words in the sentence to see if they have said the meaning backward due to multiple negatives.
Example 9: Due to confusion in management and inability to supervise, more than one major winery in the country has not lost tens of thousands of trademarks.
Example 10: No one can deny that parents' practices are not care for their children, but the result may be counterproductive.
Analysis: These two sentences are typical sentences that are inappropriately negated due to multiple negation. According to the meaning of the sentence, Example 9 should remove the word "no" in the sentence. Example 10 is a sentence nested with rhetorical questions and multiple negation. Pay attention to careful judgment. This sentence should remove the second word "no" in the sentence.
In addition, some verbs themselves have negative meanings or play a negative role. They often do not contain negative words after them. If they are included, the meaning will be completely opposite. For example, the following two sentences:
Example 11: In order to avoid no more cheating in exams, the school has strengthened organizational discipline education for students this semester.
3 Example 12: In order to prevent such traffic accidents from happening again, we have strengthened the education and management of traffic safety.
Analysis: According to the meaning of the sentence, the "no" in Example 11 Example 12 should be removed, because the purpose of "school strengthens organizational discipline education for students" is to "avoid cheating in exams", and the purpose of "strengthening the education and management of traffic safety" is to "prevent such traffic accidents."
5. I found that there are "right", "for" and "about" in the sentence to see if they are mixed or whether the host and guest are inverted.
Example 13: Regarding this overbearing clause that infringes on consumer rights, China Consumer Association will give comments and expose them in a timely manner.
Example 14: cloning technology , SARS and Avian influenza are unfamiliar to children who are still naive.
parsing: Example 13 is to mix "for" and "about", and "about" should be changed to "for". Example 14: The host and guest are reversed, and should be changed to "Children who are still naive are unfamiliar with concepts such as cloning technology, SARS and avian influenza" or "Cloning technology, SARS and avian influenza are unfamiliar with concepts such as childish children."
6. Discover the word, see if it is unclear.
Example 15: Ouyang Junyi pushed open the door and saw his brother and his girlfriend having a heart-to-heart talk.
Analysis: In this sentence, "his girlfriend" refers to whose girlfriend, I don't know, and I made a mistake of referring to it.
7. Find out whether the words with numerical divisors are used to see if they cause conflict.
cases 16: The cost of Japanese magnetic levitation trains is more than 900 million yuan per kilometer, German magnetic levitation trains exceed 400 million yuan, and existing magnetic levitation trains in China are also around 200 million yuan.
parsing: In this sentence, the contradiction between "Da" and "above" of "Da" and "above" can be changed to "in", or "above" can be removed.
8. If you find the sentence "yes" to indicate judgment, it depends on whether the main and guest combination is appropriate.
Example 17: His hometown is from Hai'an, Jiangsu.
Analysis: This sentence is a judgment sentence, the subject is "hometown" and the object is "person", and the combination is improper. It can be changed to "his hometown is Hai'an, Jiangsu" or "he is from Hai'an, Jiangsu".
9. It was found that words such as shrinking, reducing, and reducing were combined with multiples, and they made an illogical problem.
Example 18: Due to the application of high-tech, the price of TVs has been twice as low as three years ago.
Example 19: This model of racing is simulated and reduced by 32 times according to the international Formula One racing style. From the outside, it is not much larger than a toy car.
Analysis: It is irrelevant to collocation of words such as shrink, reduce, and reduce with multiples. These words are often collocation of percentages or fractions. For example, it has decreased by two-thirds, reduced by fifty percent, reduced by three percentage points, etc.
10. Find "no matter" or "even", see if the two words are misused.
3 Example 20: Regardless of climatic conditions and geographical environment, the mountaineering team still overcomes the difficulties and climbs to the top successfully.
Analysis: "No matter if the words after " are uncertain or selective, they often contain words such as "how", "how", "or", "or" and other words; although the words after "are certain" cannot be selective.
