International students who purchase duty-free carsPolicies
International students, visiting scholars and further education personnel who meet the conditions can purchase designated ranges of their own cars within one year of returning to China after graduation, and enjoy the discount on tariffs on imported parts and vehicle purchase taxes. This preferential policy can save international students a minimum of 30,000 to 50,000 yuan or more than 100,000 yuan in car purchase costs. However, it should be noted that vehicles that enjoy preferential and exemption must be domestic joint venture cars, and imported cars and pure domestic cars do not enjoy preferential treatment.
Application conditions for international students:
(1) For the purpose of learning and further study, study, pursue degree, study business, or engage in scientific research and conduct academic exchanges in regular universities, colleges, and scientific research institutions abroad for more than one year. (The actual total time abroad during the study period reached more than 270 days)
(2) Return to China within two years after completing his studies, and his first entry after graduation has not exceeded one year.
(3) Those who study and further study in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan enjoy the same treatment.
Materials required for processing duty-free car
(1) "Degree Certificate" or "Study Certificate".
(2) After the Ministry of Education cancels the " certificate of returnees from overseas study abroad", it must hold a valid admission notice, academic certification or invitation letter, a letter of completion certificate (not obtaining a degree) etc. For specific requirements, please refer to the local customs implementation requirements.
(3) ID card, household registration book, passport or Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan pass, and entry and exit records during study abroad.
