This major aims to: Provide students with the technical knowledge and practical skills required to conduct research and development in challenging interdisciplinary fields of language and language technology; enable students to learn the most advanced technologies such as speech synthesis, speech recognition, natural language processing, dialogue, language generation and machine translation; enable students to learn the theories behind these technologies and gain practical experience in using and developing practical systems based on these technologies.
