The quality of education and teaching is the lifeline of school management. From October 10, all the teaching and research staff of the Middle School Teaching and Research Center went deep into the District No. 2 Middle School to carry out a week-long teaching research, inspection and guidance on school-based teaching and research, normal courses, teaching resources, academic quality, student reading activities, etc. The school presents teaching characteristics and highlights from many aspects such as improving teaching and research quality, improving classroom efficiency, optimizing quality, and studying and educating. 1. Participate in the subject collective lesson preparation activities. each preparation group has achieved normalization of collective lesson preparation activities through on-site lesson preparation, online teaching and research , etc. We have achieved the "four determinations and four preparations", namely, fixed time, fixed content, fixed location and fixed personnel division of labor, prepared unit teaching design, unit homework design, unit evaluation design and unit teaching courseware. It has improved teachers' awareness of teaching research and classroom teaching ability, and laid a solid foundation for classroom teaching quality. At the same time, the resource sharing of lesson preparation results in junior high schools across the district has been achieved, and the reform of teaching and research to promote classroom teaching is solidly carried out.
2. Listen to the normal courses of subject evaluation. listen to the class adheres to the principle of "three key points", focuses on listening to new teachers' classes, understand the teaching ability and current situation of teachers, and provide targeted teaching guidance and suggestions; listen to the lessons of key teachers, understand the implementation of the new curriculum standards concept in classroom teaching, and provide practical experience to promote the high-quality development of teaching and research work; listen to the lessons of graduate teachers, understand the current situation and teaching progress of classroom teaching, exchange exam preparation experience, and achieve steady progress and efficient quality improvement.
3. Carry out academic quality tests in class. Each subject conducts three-minute in-class testing based on the teaching situation in writing, answering and testing to understand the classroom teaching effect, and provide feedback and communication with teachers on the classroom testing situation, and use detection data to analyze the teaching situation. In-class testing has become a part of routine teaching, giving full play to its role in diagnosis, guidance, feedback and motivation, constantly improving teaching methods and strategies, and improving the effectiveness of classroom teaching.
4. Check the construction of the school’s teaching resource library. High-quality teaching resources are the guarantee of teaching quality. The lesson preparation groups of each subject design, discussion and improvement in the teaching and research and teaching activities to form unit lesson preparation results. Each lesson preparation group accumulates teaching materials weekly, establishes a resource library with teaching design, homework design, courseware and unit test questions as content, providing resource support for teachers' personalized and efficient teaching.
5. View the results of students' reading activities. School carries out reading activities for classic works from the aspects of reading and display. Students read their favorite books and works, and present their reading results through reading notes, reflections, poetry and pictorials and mind reading maps. Carry out situational experiences through the appreciation and dubbing of classic movie clips, cultivate students to develop good reading habits, and be a middle school student with ideological connotation, knowledge background and ideals. Reading has become an important part of teaching, reading culture spreads on campus, and the fragrance of books has precipitated the cultural heritage of teaching.
A week-long research activity ended, members of the Teaching and Research Center held an exchange and discussion with the school leaders, and subject teaching and research staff summarized the situation of this survey, affirmed the school’s achievements in teaching and research and teaching, and put forward suggestions for further optimizing teaching quality.
