The main content of this labor practice activity is making dumplings. Before the event started, the school prepared the required ingredients and tools in advance, and the teacher explained the steps and methods of making dumplings to the students.
At the beginning of the event, the students wore chef hat in groups, picked up ingredients and started to be busy. This is the first time some students make dumplings, and are cautious about breaking the dumpling skin; some students are skillful in their operation and the dumplings they make are plump and exquisite. During one class, the children packed a table full of round or flat dumplings with different shapes. Looking at the fruits of their own labor, every child's face was filled with excitement and pride.
Bowls of steaming dumplings were served on the table. When the students tasted the dumplings they made with their own hands, they experienced the joy of labor. "I have liked eating dumplings since I was a child, and I have never made dumplings before. This time, I not only learned how to make dumplings, but also understood a truth: the fruits of my own labor are the sweetest!" said Zhao Guowei, a fourth-grade student.
