Since Minhang District became the first national smart education demonstration zone in 2019, it has based on the "1258" project, built a regional smart education cloud platform and actively explored large-scale teaching practices based on data-driven large-scale teaching according to aptitude.
"1258" project is to create a vertical service education cloud platform, relying on two application assistants of intelligent teaching and intelligent student companion to carry out personalized teaching, providing precise services to five types of users, students, parents, teachers, managers and citizens, focusing on eight business scenarios: classroom teaching, adaptive learning, course selection, campus activities, club participation, social practice, home-school interaction, and subject experiments, enriching various educational and teaching application needs, and comprehensively promoting the in-depth integration of information technology and education and teaching.

"Smart education plays a very important role in the process of building a smart city in Minhang. We attach great importance to education reform and development. Under the guidance of the overall goal of urban digital transformation in Minhang District, and combined with regional education development plans and actual needs, the "Minhang District Government - Implementation Plan for the Creation of a National Smart Education Demonstration Zone" was formulated." It is reported that the smart education cloud platform has built a unified educational digital base, and has completed unified certification of five types of users of "students, parents, teachers, managers and citizens" on the platform, formulated data standards and specifications, developed data exchange interfaces, promoted business data entry, built teaching theme databases, and supported the cloud deployment of district and school applications. This enables the platform to dynamically gather internal data in the education system, and exchange and dock with the city, district big data center, Suishenban , Citizen Cloud , and Municipal Education Commission Data Center to achieve data integration and communication at the city, district and school levels.

At present, the smart education cloud platform has connected to 48 education business systems, accessed 8982 data tables, and accessed 838 million data pieces. 62 data interface services are provided to the outside world, and 15 business applications have been called. The total number of interface calls has reached 3.49 million, and the total number of data calls exceeds 100 million.

There are 120,000 students completing homework through the "Minzhi Homework" platform, covering 96.1% of primary and secondary school students in the whole district, and a total of 12.297 million homework has been completed.

After the start of school in September this year, Zhuanqiao Middle School introduced the "Min Xiaoshu" smart pen on the basis of the "Min Zhi Homework" platform, optimized the homework data collection method and built an interactive classroom smart teaching scenario. At present, Smart Pen has carried out school-wide pilot projects in 18 schools and class pilot projects in some schools.
